We had a wonderful 2 weeks stay at Stelios’ & Natasa’s place! The apartment is beautiful and spotlessly clean, just as in the photos, kitchen was well stocked and Natasa awaited us with some fruits and local alcohol location is close to Chania and LOTS of amazing beaches and things to see. Communication with Natasa was great, lots of great local recommendations. We hope to be back soon!

Tout d'abord un grand merci à Natasa et Stelios pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil. Ce sont des hôtes vraiment serviables et aux petits soins. A notre arrivée dans le logement ils nous ont offert des fruits frais,du vin et un alcool local. C'est une très belle attention.
Le logement est parfait. Il n'y a rien à dire. Il est décoré avec soin, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. Les deux petits balcons sont vraiment appréciables et la vue mer est top.
On peut faire facilement les courses à pied, plusieurs restaurants et petits commerces sont aussi à proximité et les plages sont également facilement accessibles.
L'aéroport se trouve à 35 min en voiture.
Nous recommandons ce logement à 300%.

Der Aufenthalt war einfach perfekt! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie beschrieben – sauber, modern eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders der tolle Ausblick vom Balkon.
Die Lage war für uns ideal: ruhig, aber trotzdem nah an den schönen Stränden und leckeren Tavernen.
Die Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich, Danke an Anna, Natasa&Stelios wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit!
Der Check-in hat wunderbar geklappt obwohl wir durch den Flug verspätet ankamen.
Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen und dies hat sich jeden Tag wiederholt.
Die beiden waren immer herzlich, hilfsbereit, freundlich und umsichtig.
Wir haben die besten Tipps für Ausflüge, Strände und Restaurants bekommen und konnten uns immer an die beiden wenden.
Wenn wir etwas brauchten, hat es nur wenige Minuten gedauert, bis sich darum gekümmert wurde.
Auch als wir krank wurden, wurden wir unterstützt und man hat sich mehrfach nach uns und unserem Zustand erkundigt.
Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, die Putzfrau hat immer sehr gründlich geputzt.
Es hat uns an überhaupt nichts gefehlt.
Das Appartement ist in einem top Zustand und 1:1 wie auf den Fotos. Liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht!
Das Meer ist nur einen Blick entfernt und das Dorf fußläufig zu erreichen.

All I can say is just perfect. Perfect room, perfect view, perfect hospitality. Everything you need is well thought and the room is fully equipped, including washing machine, hair dryer, shampoos, towels(for beach too), coffee machine, toaster, kettle, good fridge, olive oil, pan, etc. But as a person who cares about hygiene a lot what really made me love this place is that they didn’t put those decorative blankets and pillows in top of the bed like any other hotels/Airbnbs. No marks in the sheets nor in the towels. Everywhere in the room felt so clean. I stayed in Levantes room for 7 nights and had such a blast in the morning with the view while drinking my coffee. Balcony set up was also super cozy. Bed was very comfortable. There are really countless of things that I consider perfect. In some hotels or airbnbs there are no space for your makeup products, no proper place to hang your towels, put your clothes. But I got a lot of space for my stuff, I had three mirrors in the room which was very convenient also. Cute cretan cats were visiting our balcony once in a while which was also a big plus for me to have them around. I felt like we were in the nature with sea view but in a luxury condition. We were able to park our car just right in front of our front door as well which made also very easy for us to pack beach bags easily without carrying heavy things to the car. Car was just one step close to us. The owner couple was so sweet. When we encountered them, they kept asking if we need anything, if everything was good, it was obvious that they wanted to make sure we feel like home which we did. About the location, Kalyves was not beautiful as chania or rethymno but quiet and nice. Just a seaside village so dont expect too much from the village. There were two beaches nearby around 10 mins each but we always went to turquoise water beaches located in the west and south of crete but this was our preference. And since kalyves is located in between rethymno and chania we were able to visit both towns for dinner easily. Overall, it was such an amazing stay. This place increased the expectation so high that I am not sure if I’ll ever like other airbnbs as much as I liked this apartment. This level of cleanliness, good equipment and relax stay cannot even be found in five star all inclusive hotels sometimes. Amazing.

Loved my stay! The perfect first stop when visiting Crete. Stelios welcomed me when I arrived and showed me the space. Great location, 30 mins from the airport. As a solo female traveller I felt safe here. The apartments are tucked in at the end of a lane very close to the town so it was easy to pop in and out while walking / exploring the local town.

An incredibly pleasant surprise, we stayed in Levandes apartment and we still cant get over our experience. Firstly the hosts Natasa and Stelios were very welcoming and attentive hosts and most importantly great people! The apartment was exceptionally clean, the design was amazing and the equipment and amenities it had were more than we could imagine, literally anything someone might need was there! The apartments are located in an amazing quiet area and they have amazing sea views. There is a private parking literally one foot step away from the rooms door which is very convenient. Overall a 10/10 experience, definitely recommended to everyone!

We had an amazing stay!. After travelling for a while and being on the go a lot it was the perfect spot to just relax. Definitely recommend renting a car as there’s not much in the area itself but that wasn’t an issue for us. Lovely kitchen that was fully equipped with everything you need to make a nice homemade dinner. The view from the outside sitting area was really nice. Hosts were so so helpful and responsive. I would definitely book again and would recommend staying here!

We have a great stay at Kalyves! Natasa was extremely friendly and met us at the airbnb, she gave us amazing recommendations and great directions to the airbnb. We had a beautiful view from the outside terrace of the water. The place was extremely clean and had all the amenities you need. It’s walking distance to the town of Kalyves and only a 20 mins drive to Chania. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this to anyone coming to stay here!

We‘ve just spent 6 days at one of the wonderful Avra Apartments. Everything was perfect, such a nice apartment, peaceful up a little hill with everything provided you could think of. Moreover, Natasa and Stelio were super nice and would surely have helped with anything, only there was absolutely nothing missing or not working, so we didn’t need any support. Lovely vacation, would return in a heartbeat!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, appartement très bien situé, proche de la plage et du petit centre. Le logement est impeccable, propre, confortable, c’est comme à l’hôtel mais en mieux!

Everything was perfect! The accommodation is just as beautiful and cozy as in the pictures. We got very good tips from the host, e.g. about local restaurants, running routes. They are super hospitable! I hope we can come back someday!

One of the best Airbnb apartments I have stayed in. Large, comfortable, and a great sea view from the balcony. Very spacious, and you can see the ocean from most of the apartment. Stylish, but also very comfortable as well. Clean kitchen with all appliances you need. Very large and comfy beds, with air conditioning in every room. Few minutes walk to two nice beaches, and also great restaurants where you eat right next to the ocean. Great apartment, and we would love to stay again!

L'appartement est agréable, propre (le ménage est même fait au bout de 4 jours avec changement des draps et serviettes).
On a aussi beaucoup apprécié l'espace extérieur avec la terrasse et sa magnifique vue sur la mer.

Περάσαμε υπέροχα στο Καλύβες! Η Νατάσα ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλική και μας συνάντησε στο κατάλυμα, μας έδωσε εκπληκτικές προτάσεις και εξαιρετικές οδηγίες για το κατάλυμα. Είχαμε μια όμορφη θέα από την εξωτερική βεράντα του νερού. Ο χώρος ήταν εξαιρετικά καθαρός και είχε όλες τις παροχές που χρειάζεστε. Είναι σε κοντινή απόσταση με τα πόδια από την πόλη του Καλύβου και μόλις 20 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από τα Χανιά. Απολαύσαμε πολύ τον χρόνο μας εδώ και θα το συνιστούσαμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον έρχεται να μείνει εδώ!

😀 - Avra Apartments are one of the most beautiful places I have recently had the pleasure to visit. Right after our arrival, we were welcomed in such a way that I immediately felt at home – fresh fruit, cold water in the fridge, as well as Greek wine and a homemade stronger drink were waiting for us. The apartment is located at the top of a steep driveway, but that’s not a problem, because Stelios had no trouble parking my car. He also took care of the children and shared his own kids’ toys with them. Throughout our stay, he kept sending us tips on where to go, what to see, and where to eat. The apartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. Located right in the heart of the village of Kelavies and very close to the beach.

Όλα ήταν τέλεια! Το κατάλυμα είναι εξίσου όμορφο και άνετο με τις εικόνες. Λάβαμε πολύ καλές συμβουλές από τον οικοδεσπότη, π.χ. για τοπικά εστιατόρια, διαδρομές για τρέξιμο. Είναι εξαιρετικά φιλόξενοι! 😍 Ελπίζω να μπορέσουμε να επιστρέψουμε κάποια μέρα!

Stylianos and Natasa are wonderful hosts and they have refurbished and furnished the apartments in a classy and functional way, providing customers with everything they need to enjoy their time.
The facilities are located perfectly, blessed with a wonderful view of the coast, and close to local restaurants and shops that allow customers to enjoy an authentic experience of Crete.

Der Kontakt zu Nastasa war super freundlich und sympathisch. Auf Wünsche und Rückfragen wurde adäquat eingegangen. Die Wohnung ist schön, sauber und die Lage ist traumhaft. Der Strand ist fußläufig in 10 Minuten erreichbar und auch die Anbindung ist hervorragend. Insbesondere der hauseigene Zitronenbaum hat uns sehr überzeugt. Dieses Apartment ist ein Juwel auf AirBnB und absolut empfehlenswert.

Perfect for a small family 😀 - The place was well equipped and we even had a crib, baby chair and baby bathtub at our disposal which was very helpful with a 6 month old baby. The apartment had two terraces, one from where we had a view to the sea. There are good restaurants in the neighborhood and the beach is also quite close. Natasia and her husband were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in Avra Apartments and recommend it!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Stelios und Natasa. Natasa war immer sehr freundlich und half uns bei allen Angelegenheiten und ging sehr auf alle unseren Bedürfnisse ein. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und genau wie auf den Bildern. Besonders gefiel uns die Waschmaschine und Wäscheständer die in der Wohnung integriert waren und wir aßen viele Mahlzeiten auf dem süßen Balkon.
Aufgrund der Lage von Bushaltestellen könnte man ein Auto brauchen um die Gegend zu erkunden, das war aber kein Problem für uns, da wir sowieso viel entdecken wollten und flexibel sein wollten und wir bekamen gute Tipps.
Unsere Zeit hier war sehr schön und man hatte alles was man sich wünschen könnte. Danke für die Fürsorge und die Unterstützung!!

We had a fantastic time in Crete at Stelios and Natasha's place. The apartment is really beautiful and had everything we and our young children needed. We loved the sea view and watching the sunset. Stelios and Natasha were great hosts and quickly replied to any questions we had, and gave us some great recommendations for tavernas to try. We highly recommend their place, and love to come back one day.

Το σπίτι είναι καθαρό και τακτοποιημένο, όπως φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες. Η Νατάσα είναι πολύ φιλόξενη. Η περιοχή όπου βρίσκεται το σπίτι είναι ένα μικρό χωριό. Η αγορά κ.λπ. είναι κοντά. Κατά τη γνώμη μας, το μόνο που λείπει είναι ότι τα εστιατόρια και η παραλία σε κοντινή απόσταση δεν είναι αρκετά καλά. Φάγαμε στα Χανιά τις άλλες νύχτες εκτός από 2 βραδινά.

Νιώσαμε άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή. Το διαμέρισμα διαθέτει όλα όσα χρειάζεστε. Είναι επιπλωμένο με αγάπη και σύμφωνα με τη μόδα. Τις ζεστές μέρες, είναι υπέροχο να βρείτε ένα σκιερό σημείο σε ένα από τα μπαλκόνια. Η Νατάσα, η οικοδεσπότης, ήταν πολύ ζεστή και εξυπηρετική.
Θα απολαμβάνουμε αυτές τις διακοπές για πολύ καιρό. Συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

Η επαφή με τη Nastasa ήταν εξαιρετικά φιλική και προσωπική. Τα αιτήματα και τα ερωτήματα αντιμετωπίστηκαν επαρκώς. Το διαμέρισμα είναι ωραίο, καθαρό και η τοποθεσία είναι φανταστική. Η παραλία βρίσκεται σε κοντινή απόσταση με τα πόδια σε 10 λεπτά και η σύνδεση είναι επίσης εξαιρετική. Συγκεκριμένα, η εσωτερική λεμονιά μας έπεισε πάρα πολύ. Αυτό το διαμέρισμα είναι ένα πετράδι στην AirBnB και συνιστάται ιδιαίτερα.

🌟 Fantastiskt boende – varmt rekommenderas! Jag hade en underbar vistelse på detta boende. Rummet var fräscht, välstädat och mycket bekvämt, med allt jag behövde för en avkopplande semester. Läget var perfekt – lugnt men ändå nära till restauranger och sevärdheter. Värden var otroligt gästvänlig och hjälpsam, och gav oss många bra tips om området. Det märks verkligen att de bryr sig om sina gäster. Jag skulle utan tvekan boka detta boende igen nästa gång jag är i området!

Erg aan te raden Airbnb! Zeer vriendelijke hosts en een mooi appartement. We waren positief verrast. Er zat zelfs schoonmaak, nieuw beddengoed en badlakens bij in. Ook ligt het appartement op een mooie locatie waar van alles te doen is in de buurt en op loopafstand van 2 zandstranden.

😀 - La amabilidad de Natasa que estuvo atenta y nos dio todas las recomendaciones y detalles necesarios. Así como la terraza que la disfrutamos muchísimo tanto por la noche viendo las estrellas y la tranquilidad nocturna, como por la mañana con las vistas al mar y el desayuno. 😞 - Que no tuvimos más días para disfrutarlo más

A lovely relaxing week in a great apartment. 😀 - The hosts Stelios and Natasa were very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. They booked taxis for us to and from the airport and recommended good places to eat. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable with very nice touches such as a coffee machine, fresh coffee, fruit and wine. The apartment was in a nice quiet location about 15 minutes walk to the main beach. There were less busy beaches also about 15 minutes away in the opposite direction. 😞 - Nothing

We spent 2 weeks in this cosy apartment and enjoyed it a lot. Everything was there, even a washing machine - which we did not expect. Natasa was always very helpful und the cleaning service was very sufficient. 2 terraces to choose where to have breakfast or dinner to enjoy the view and sun or shadow. Due to the steep road up to the apartments the parking may not be too easy for beginners, but cars can always be parked at the main street. Overall a highly recommendable location, with everything needed for a relaxing stay and very good and friendly service!

Wir waren einige Tage im Juni bei Stelios und Natasa. Super Gastfreundlich und keiner unserer Wünsche wurde nicht erfüllt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Sogar Sandspielzeug für unseren kleinen Sohn wurde zur Verfügung gestellt. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei den beiden. Macht weiter so. Liebe Grüße

Highly recommend!! We came to Kalyves for some rest and relaxation and our stay at Avra apartments exceeded this expectation. The apartment was very clean, stocked with all the essentials plus some, and the terrace was the perfect place to start every day - we even arrived to some welcome gifts. Stelios was incredibly accommodating and responsive, quickly providing us with additional amenities, such as beach towels. Chania and its surrounding areas were amazing, but this accommodation really made it feel like home away from home. The whole trip was perfect thanks to Stelios’ help! Avra apartments exceeded our expectations in every way! Hope to come back soon!

Both Natasha and Stelios were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was excellent for us , though we have been to Kalvyes a number of times before this is the best apartment we have been in . Well equipped everything you need.

Everything was perfect

A lovely stay. Beautiful views. Perfect for 2 people. The veranda overlooking the ocean was incredible. The home is clean, bathroom is modern and spacious, and the proximity to excellent food made this one of my favorite Airbnb's in Greece.

Our third stay in Avra Apartments - did not think about other accommodation in Chania region. Cozy rooms, clean, well equipped - everything functional. High level of care and hospitality - feel like at home - thank you Natasa !!!

Μείναμε εκεί για 10 ημέρες και όλα ήταν υπέροχα. Η Νατάσα ήταν πολύ φιλική και ευγενική και μας βοήθησε με κάθε ερώτηση που είχαμε.
Η παραλία ήταν πολύ κοντά και το σούπερ μάρκετ δεν ήταν πολύ μακριά!
Συνολικά, απολαύσαμε πολύ τη διαμονή και ανυπομονούμε να επιστρέψουμε μια μέρα.

Μια υπέροχη διαμονή. Όμορφη θέα. Ιδανικό για 2 άτομα. Η βεράντα με θέα στον ωκεανό ήταν απίστευτη. Το κατάλυμα είναι καθαρό, το μπάνιο είναι μοντέρνο και ευρύχωρο και η εγγύτητα σε εξαιρετικό φαγητό το έκανε ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου στην Airbnb στην Ελλάδα.

Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!! Ήρθαμε στην Καλύβη για ξεκούραση και χαλάρωση και η διαμονή μας στα διαμερίσματα Avra ξεπέρασε αυτή την προσδοκία. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν πολύ καθαρό, εφοδιασμένο με όλα τα απαραίτητα και κάτι παραπάνω, και η βεράντα ήταν το ιδανικό μέρος για να ξεκινάμε κάθε μέρα - φτάσαμε ακόμη και με κάποια δώρα καλωσορίσματος. Ο Στέλιος ήταν απίστευτα εξυπηρετικός και ανταποκρίθηκε γρήγορα, παρέχοντάς μας γρήγορα πρόσθετες παροχές, όπως πετσέτες θαλάσσης. Τα Χανιά και οι γύρω περιοχές ήταν εκπληκτικά, αλλά αυτό το κατάλυμα με έκανε πραγματικά να νιώσω σαν στο σπίτι μου. Ολόκληρο το ταξίδι ήταν τέλειο χάρη στη βοήθεια του Στέλιου! Τα διαμερίσματα Avra ξεπέρασαν τις προσδοκίες μας με κάθε τρόπο! Ελπίζουμε να επιστρέψουμε σύντομα!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit auf Kreta und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Natasa hat uns herzlich begrüßt, uns mit Tipps für die Umgebung versorgt und sich zwischendurch nach uns erkundigt.
Besonders gefallen hat uns, dass die Wohnung zwischendurch gereinigt worden ist und uns sogar Strandtücher zu Verfügung gestellt wurden.
Hier wurde an alles Gedacht und wir können uns vorstellen wiederzukommen!

The apartment was really nice and cosy. with all the amenities you want, need and more. Stelios and Natasa have really made us feel very relaxed and welcomed when meeting up for the keys. The apartment was to a high level of cleanliness. lovely modern rooms . a very comfy living room. we was walked through how to use everything in the apartment which made us feel right at home. Natasa also helped me with some questions of the local area.
I hope to book again very soon.

Ήταν μια εκπληκτική διαμονή σε μια εξαιρετική τοποθεσία. Πολύ κοντά σε παραλίες και κοντά στον κεντρικό δρόμο. Ο Στέλιος και η Νατάσα ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί με φοβερές προτάσεις για φαγητό, συμβουλές επισκεπτών και σημεία για κολύμβηση με αναπνευστήρα. We had a fantastic time at avra apartments', spotlessly clean, comfortable bed,

Περάσαμε υπέροχα στην Κρήτη και νιώσαμε πολύ άνετα στο διαμέρισμα! Η Νατάσα μας καλωσόρισε θερμά, μας έδωσε συμβουλές για την περιοχή και ρωτούσε για εμάς ενδιάμεσα.
Μας άρεσε ιδιαίτερα το γεγονός ότι το διαμέρισμα καθαρίστηκε ενδιάμεσα και μας δόθηκαν ακόμη και πετσέτες παραλίας.
Όλα ήταν προσεγμένα εδώ και μπορούμε να φανταστούμε να επιστρέφουμε!

Stayed in 2 bed apartment Altemi. So incredibly comfortable and well-designed. Super well-equipped kitchen, cushioned reclining chairs on the balcony and great beds. Natasa was lovely, gave us beach towels, fruit, wine and raki. Downstairs there were books and beach things to borrow. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely come back.

Τι να πω για αυτό το κατάλυμα? Το αγαπήσαμε από την πρώτη στιγμή.2 φορές μείναμε και θέλαμε και 3η αλλά δεν υπήρχε διαθεσιμότητα. Υπεροχα καθαρά μεγαλα δωμάτια με ωραια θέα και πάρκινγκ. Τα κορίτσια που το έχουν είναι απίστευτα φιλοξενες και εξυπηρετικές κ σε βοηθάνε σε ότι και αν ζητήσεις. Κάνανε τη διαμονή μας πολύ ευχάριστη! Η τοποθεσια επισης πολυ καλη 15 λεπτα απο τα Χανιά. Τα Χριστούγεννα μας είχαν στείλει κ κάρτα.ποσο συγκινήθηκα δεν λέγεται. Σας ευχαριστούμε για όλα και ελπίζουμε να σας ξανά έρθουμε!! 😘🥰😍

It was an amazing stay at a great location. Very close to beaches and close to the main road. Stelios and Natasa were very helpful with awesome recommendations for food, visitors advice and snorkeling spots. It was a beautiful apartment with all appliances you could need. Unser Aufenthalt in den Avra Apartments war traumhaft und erholsam. Nataša ist eine sehr sympathische und zugewandte Gastgeberin. Sie half uns mit hilfreichen Tipps für die Umgebung und darüber hinaus. Kalyves ist ein entspannter Ort mit hübschen Stränden und schöner Natur für Unternehmungen im Hinterland. Die Wohnung ist in einem Top-Zustand. Sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es fehlt wirklich an nichts! Man hat auch einen schönen Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer. Das alles hat unsere Zeit dort perfekt gemacht und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

Nous recherchions un logement tranquille et comfortable pour un séjour de vélo et ce logement était parfait pour ça.
La communication avec Stelios était facile, le logement très bien équipé et fonctionnel.
A 20 minutes de route de Chania, plusieurs belles routes pour le vélo, près de la mer et des montagnes.

We really enjoyed staying at Stelios apartment! It is nicely furnished, the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking and the view from the terrace is lovely. The neighborhood quiet, but you can find a grocery store, restaurants and bakery within 10min walking. Stelios has equipped the apartment in a way that we found everything we needed. Απολαύσαμε πραγματικά τη διαμονή μας στο διαμέρισμα του Στέλιου! Είναι όμορφα επιπλωμένο, η κουζίνα είναι καλά εξοπλισμένη με όλα όσα χρειάζεστε για το μαγείρεμα και η θέα από τη βεράντα είναι υπέροχη. Η γειτονιά είναι ήσυχη, αλλά μπορείτε να βρείτε παντοπωλείο, εστιατόρια και φούρνο σε απόσταση 10 λεπτών με τα πόδια. Ο Στέλιος έχει εξοπλίσει το διαμέρισμα με τρόπο που βρήκαμε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ, σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε!

Ψάχναμε έναν ήσυχο και άνετο χώρο διαμονής για μια διαμονή με ποδήλατο και αυτός ο χώρος ήταν ιδανικός για αυτό.
Η επικοινωνία με τον Στέλιο ήταν εύκολη, το κατάλυμα ήταν πολύ καλά εξοπλισμένο και λειτουργικό.
20 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο από τα Χανιά, αρκετοί όμορφοι δρόμοι για ποδηλασία, κοντά στη θάλασσα και τα βουνά.

Wunderschönes, modernes Appartement. Man sieht das Meer, die Lage ist super und ruhig. Alles im Dorf ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind so herzlich und gastfreundlich, man fühlt sich wie in der eigenen Familie. In der Wohnung ist alles da, was man für einen entspannten kurzen oder längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Es ist schade, wenn man gehen muß, aber ein Grund, wieder zu kommen. Danke!

A lovely place in Kalyves, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Chania. The apartment had everything we needed and Natasa was super friendly and communicative, and gave us local recommendations 🙂 Would love to come back for a longer period!

Stelio’s and Natasha are fantastic host. Very good information. Their place is a dream! Walkable to everything. I had accidentally included a pamphlet of theirs in with our own paper work but was able to return to them from local bus station. Everything in Kaylves was easy to accomplish. Chania is only a short taxi ride away.

Highly recommend staying here! Our stay was incredibly lovely. The accommodation was impeccable and Natasa was the most attentive and helpful guide for the area, even looking up weather for us and suggesting itineraries. She sent us to one of our favorite restaurants of the whole trip and is just generally someone you’ll wish you had way more time just getting to know! Nice hot water and comfy bed. Many thoughtful touches like raki, fruit, tea, and coffee to welcome you ❤️

Absolutely looove this location. Extremely cute and cozy. Amazing views of the water and mountains. Natasa was a phenomenal host! My flight got delayed so I unfortunately arrive a little later than anticipated and she still greeted me with a big smile and treated me like a good friend. Very comfortable accommodations. She offered several great suggestions for food and activities. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Crete. Thanks so much!

We (3) enjoyed our stay a lot, also because of the beautiful apartment, the interior is modern, cozy and very nice and well-divided for 3-4 persons.
the views are excellent, so is the service (cleaning, warm welcome etc.). the kitchen is also very well-euqipped so no problem to cook and have meals at home.
we stayed in early november and also enjoyed the chimney 😉
Tips for other travellers
it´s an excellent home base for all short & long trips to Crete, especially in the eastern part (eg. Chania, Elafonisi, etc.); many restaurants etc. around, also directly in Kalyves, a nice beach is in walking distance, plus there´s a Almyrida just around the corner.

We enjoyed our stays at Avra. Located in a peaceful small village, with few grocery stores, restaurants and bakeries near by. Kalyves beach is within walking distance too. Bus stop for local bus to Chania is just opposite the apartment and it only took 30mins to reach Chania. Overall, in love with this peaceful village and definitely will visit again.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce petit duplex, parfait pour 2 personnes. On a vraiment apprécié les petites attentions des hôtes et leur gentillesse. De même cet appartement dispose de 2 terrasses qui ont fait notre bonheur. Kalyves est un petit village paisible doté d’une plage ( à 3mn du logement) et situé à 30mn de la Chania.

Super airbnb, ultra confortable et propre. Les propriétaires sont au petit soin, nous sommes venus avec notre fille de moins de 2 ans et il y avait tous les équipements nécessaires (chaise bébé, baignoire, lit parapluie et même les ustensiles pour manger) Stellos a ramené également quelques jeux et et sa femme est venu protéger le balcon. Un ménage est effectué également durant le séjour, on se sent vraiment comme chez soi. La literie est confortable aussi, nous recommandons vivement !

החדר היה הכי נוח וביתי שהיה לנו כאן בטיול, יש בו כל מה שצריך ויותר!
המקום משופץ ונעים ומרגיש בייתי! והעיירה קטנה ומתוקה, יש חוף במרחק הליכה והרבה מקומות לשבת. גם טברנה של מוזיקה חיה פעמיים בשבוע.
הארכנו את השהות בחדר כי היה מאוד נעים ונהנו מהאיזור.
יש גם מסלולי הליכה יחסית קרובים וזו גם חוויה מעולה, stelios המליץ לנו על כמה.
בהחלט נרצה לחזור למקום!

Περάσαμε υπέροχα στο διαμέρισμα της Νατάσας και του Στέλιου. Όλα ήταν ακριβώς όπως περιγράφηκαν, η Natasa μας υποδέχτηκε και ήταν απίστευτα φιλική και ευγενική, νιώσαμε πραγματικά ότι μας φρόντιζαν! Το διαμέρισμα δεν είναι ηχομονωμένο, οπότε μπορείτε να ακούσετε τους γείτονές σας, αλλά αν δεν είστε υπερβολικά ευαίσθητοι στους θορύβους, δεν επηρεάζει τη διαμονή σας. Θα επιστρέψουμε ανά πάσα στιγμή!

We had a great time at Natasa and Stelios apartment. Everything was just as described, Natasa greeted us and was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, we felt really taken care of! The apartment is not soundproof, so you can hear your neighbors, but if you're not overly sensitive to noises it doesn't affect your stay. We'd come back anytime!

We had a very pleasant stay with our 4 month old baby. The hosts where very accommodating and overall the apartment is well equipped. Location wise its super close to nice beaches and to the lovely villages around Vamos. Also Chania is easily reachable by car. All in all very recommended. Only downside were the sheets, but its typical for greece. I guess we are spoiled with our egyption cotton/satin fitted sheets🤣

Είχαμε μια πολύ ευχάριστη διαμονή με το 4 μηνών μωρό μας. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και συνολικά το διαμέρισμα είναι καλά εξοπλισμένο. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ κοντά σε ωραίες παραλίες και στα υπέροχα χωριά γύρω από τον Βάμο. Επίσης, τα Χανιά είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμα με το αυτοκίνητο. Συνολικά, συνιστάται ανεπιφύλακτα. Το μόνο μειονέκτημα ήταν τα σεντόνια, αλλά είναι τυπικό για την Ελλάδα. Υποθέτω ότι είμαστε κακομαθημένοι με τα βαμβακερά/σατέν σεντόνια μας🤣

Fantastic apartment, I could live there 😀 - Such a nice apartment. Recently renovated but with a very nice blend of old (windows, doors and stairs) and new (floor, painted, USB-C sockets in the walls etc.) and super well equipped. The vibe in the apartment was sort of "Mediterranean" New Yorker apartment. We stayed in the two-bedroom "Sirakosa" apartment with sea view. We came here after a 2-week stay in Platanias, coming to Kalyves was a much more relaxed feeling and less touristy. Natasa was a great host as well. 😞 - Nothing to complain about but I do recommend having a rental car if you stay here and want to go anywhere else than Kalyves.

Tolle Unterkunft, auch für eine Reise mit einem Kleinkind. Neben der schönen Wohnung mochten wir auch die ruhige Straße mit Blick aufs Meer und die sehr netten Nachbarn. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt.

Tips for other travellers
Both beaches are good for swimming. Plenty of local circular walks. The walks to Armeni, and to the Koiliairis river and old Venetian windmill were particularly good.
Plenty of good tavernas to choose from.

Natasa and Stelios’ apartment is fantastic! It is clean, has all the necessary amenities and in a great location. Ten minute walk from the beaches and five minute walk from some great family run tavernas! The hosts were also extremely proactive and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here while in Crete!

Such a lovely apartment, with everything you need, close to the bus station, we came from Chania by bus and it was just a 3min walk, everything is within walkable distance, great village. The bedroom was so confortable, you can really get amazing sleep there. It makes a great choice for peaceful holidays.

Fantastic apartment - just as it looks in the photos! Everything a guest could want is provided and we really appreciated the little extra touches, like the fresh fruit and the wine. It’s only a short walk to the sandy beaches, and to the local restaurants and shops.

Die Wohnung war perfekt. Es war alles liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Man kam an und fühlte sich sofort wie zu Hause. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Es gab frisches Obst und Schnaps zur Begrüßung. Natasa hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Strandhandtücher gab es obendrauf. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gern wieder.

Wer die Ruhe und nicht den Trubel liebt, ist hier genau richtig untergebracht. Viele Dinge sind fussläufig erreichbar, alles in der Nähe. Sehr nette Gastgeber, schöne große Wohnung, ausgestattet mit allem was dazu gehört. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Fabulous apartment 😀 - We stayed in the Sirokos apartment, which was immaculately presented and decorated. The beds are very comfortable, as is the whole property, which was cleaned every 4 days during our stay. The property has filtered tap water, so there is no need for bottled water and the associated plastic waste, which is a fantastic plus point. The owners are on hand and extremely helpful. Es war richtig schön in den Apartments von Stelios und Natasa. Beide waren extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, immer gut erreichbar und auch der Ort Kalyves ist super schön, ruhig aber mit tollen Cafés und Restaurant. Der Strand ist fußläufig und wir haben einfach eine echt schöne Zeit dort verbracht. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Siamo stati accolti da Natasa, un host da 10 e lode. Si è interessata più volte sull’andamento del nostro soggiorno durante la nostra permanenza. L’appartamento è come in foto ed è tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Potrete trovare una lavatrice, molto utile soprattutto per soggiorni medio lunghi.
Natasa è stata sempre super disponibile e cordiale, ci ha fatto proprio sentire a casa.
Un altro punto a favore, per nulla scontato è stato la pulizia, il cambio lenzuola e asciugami avvenuto più volte durante i nostri 10 gg di pernottamento.

This was a great stay in close proximity to Chania! The host Natasa took incredibly good care of us. The apartment is large, cozy, very clean and beautifully furnished with attention to detail. You can see the sea from the balcony. There were more than enough kitchen utensils and even tea and coffee in the apartment. The apartment is in a wonderfully quiet location, but you can be in town and on the beach very quickly. There is plenty of free parking along the street. WiFi worked well everywhere.

Staying at this Air B and B was lovely. Adorable place, adorable owners <3 The apartment is huge, clean, well equipped and really very cozy. The view of the sea is fascinating from the terrace and one of the bedroom either.
We were in contact with Natasa during our stay, who is an angel. Helped us in case any questions, added many proposals for trips with a child. Η 4χρονη κόρη μας λάτρεψε επίσης τον χώρο, τη θάλασσα, το φαγητό, τα προγράμματα. Περάσαμε εδώ τις 1 κορυφαίες καλοκαιρινές διακοπές μας. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!!! Συνιστάται ανεπιφύλακτα!

C’était un vrai plaisir de passer ce séjour à Avra. Le cadre est paisible, Natasa est serviable et adorable et le village est très sympathique. On hâte d’y retourner.

Είχαμε μια υπέροχη διαμονή. Πολύ ήσυχο διαμέρισμα και κοντά στην παραλία. Νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Το διαμέρισμα είχε όλα όσα θέλαμε. Ελπίζουμε να επιστρέψουμε σύντομα. Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Stelios en zijn vrouw zijn ontzettend aardige mensen. Ze weten veel over de omgeving en hebben ons leuke tips gegeven. We hebben het contact met hen als er prettig ervaren. De Airbnb zat op een prettige plek tussen de lokale bevolking en vlak bij het strand. Binnen het dorp is alles op loopafstand, wat erg handig is. De Airbnb zag er brandschoon uit en alle dingen die je nodig hebt zijn aanwezig. Er waren zelfs parasols die je kon meenemen naar het strand. In de omgeving is ontzettend veel te doen. Wij hebben enorm genoten en raden jullie dit verblijf van harte aan!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment! The view is beautiful and you have everything you need in walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are going to Crete.

We had an amazing stay. Very peaceful apartment and close to the beach. We felt like at home. The apartment had everything what we wished for. We hope to come back soon. Strongly recommend it.

Adorable place, adorable owners <3 The apartment is huge, clean, well equipped and really very cozy. The view of the sea is fascinating from the terrace and one of the bedroom either.
We were in contact with Natasa during our stay, who is an angel. Helped us in case any questions, added many proposals for trips with a child. Our 4 years daughter also loved the place, the sea, the food, the planty of programs. We spent here our Top 1 summer holiday. Thank you very much for everything!!! Highly recommended!

Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Das Apartment ist ruhig gelegen und die Aussicht grandios. Kalyves ist ein angenehmer und ruhiger Ort, sehr authentisch. Ein perfekter Ort, um Westkreta zu erkunden. Οι φωτογραφίες της ιστοσελίδας του τα λένε όλα.Τίμιοι και ειλικρινείς οι ιδιοκτήτες του. Ότι βλέπετε στις φωτογραφίες και περιγράφουν οι ιδιοκτήτες ....και ακόμη , όχι καλύτερο, . σχεδόν..πολυτελές !!!! Δεν του λείπει τίποτα ακριβώς! Σχεδιασμένο και μελετημένο ΆΡΙΣΤΑ!! Η τιμή του καταλύματος ,ΤΙΜΙΑ! Σέβονται τους πελάτες τους από όλες τις απόψεις για να έχουν τέλεια διαμονή! Εξοπλισμένο πλήρως! Κουζίνα με όλα τα παρελκόμενα και με όλη την γκάμα των ηλεκτρικών συσκευών...Από φρυγανιέρα έως εσπρεσιέρα! Κλιματισμός ΆΡΙΣΤΟΣ! Το στρώμα και το κρεβάτι άψογα !Όποιος μείνει εκεί αποκλείεται να μην θέλει να ξαναμείνει!Σας ευχαριστούμε! Μακάρι να είχαμε κλείσει νωρίτερα,για να βρίσκαμε περισσότερες μέρες διαμονής! lovely location and apartment in kalyves

I've traveled to Greece many years in a row now and although visiting Crete was my first time this was by far the best accommodation I've ever stayed at. Amazing place to stay and couldn't recommend any better.

Muchas gracias, Stelios y Natasa son muy atentos y amables. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Chania es maravillosa, un pueblo bien equipado, la gente es muy amable y las playas son tranquilas. Nos hemos ido con muchas ganas de volver!

Perfect place for a family including everything that you need! 😀 - We really enjoyed our stay at Avra Apartments. Everything was absolutely amazing: the location, the apartment, the amenities and the cleanliness. The apartment was fully equipped with everything making our stay very confortable and the hosts were really hospitable and kind, offerring even toys for our toddler, which was a nice bonus to our stay. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay and we would recommend the place to our friends and family in the future! Natasa and Stelios: thanks for the filoxenia! 😞 - None

Έχω ταξιδέψει στην Ελλάδα πολλά χρόνια στη σειρά τώρα και παρόλο που η επίσκεψη στην Κρήτη ήταν η πρώτη μου φορά, αυτό ήταν μακράν το καλύτερο κατάλυμα που έχω μείνει ποτέ. Εκπληκτικό μέρος για να μείνετε και δεν θα μπορούσα να προτείνω κάτι καλύτερο.

Communication with Natasa was uncomplicated and always quick response to question. She was there when needed, but left enough privacy, which we really appreciated.
The kitchen was very well equipped and there was also a bottle of wine and raki waiting as a welcome gift. There was also a wonderful farewell gift as a memento. Thank you for all this.
Every 4 days the flat was cleaned very clean.

Abbiamo passato un magnifico soggiorno da Stelios e Natasa. Gli host erano estremamente gentili e disponibili a fornire consigli. L'appartamento corrispondeva alla descrizione sul sito: pulito e fornito di tutti gli accessori necessari. La posizione è ottima per poter visitare la parte occidentale dell'isola e nel caso uno non volesse spostarsi eccessivamente può utilizzare la vicina spiagga di Kalyves. Lo consiglio vivamente!
