We had a great time at the AirBnb. The apartment was very clean and was exactly how it looked in the pictures. The hosts were really nice and helpful, they always responded really fast to our questions over text.
We can really recommend it.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft und nicht zu sehr im Touristen-Trubel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten die Vermieter jederzeit für Fragen oder Empfehlungen erreichen. Sowohl der Check-In als auch das Auschecken waren persönlich und sehr herzlich!
Wir würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall erneut buchen. Gerade die Lage ist perfekt um Tagesausflüge in alle Richtungen Kretas zu unternehmen.

First about the apartment, it is cozy has a beautiful view for sunset and sunrise, breakfast early in the morning felt like paradise. Everything needed for the stay is there. Beaches are accessible by foot within 5 to 10min. Lots of mini markets and restaurants to visit.

Our hosts were amazing from their warm welcome to the apartment, friendliness and their quick response times if we ever needed anything was something I have never seen before.

Hope to stay in such amazing places with amazing hosts like here in the future but they surely set the bar high.

Lovely Greek welcome and excellently appointed apartment Stellios, Natasha and their respective parents were so lovely and welcoming. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. We only stayed the one night, but they kindly allowed us to stay on until late afternoon without seeking any extra payment, for which we were very grateful as our flight wasn't until the evening. Apartment was huge, modern, tastefully decorated, superbly appointed inc sattelite TV, and all the kitchen gadgets you need. Also, very efficient and quiet air conditioning, plus a large bathroom with a good shower. The apartment is in a quiet residential side street about 10 mins stroll to the centre of Kalives and same to the nearest sandy beach. Nearest restaurant is 5 mins away. We didn't have much of a sea view from our small terrace (we stayed in Osteria) as we were on ground floor and at rear, but looking at some of the other apartments, the ones on the side and front must have superb views of both mountains and sea.

Natasa and Stelios’ apartment is fantastic! It is clean, has all the necessary amenities and in a great location. Ten minute walk from the beaches and five minute walk from some great family run tavernas! The hosts were also extremely proactive and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here while in Crete!

Just perfect! The accommodation is beautiful and very well equipped and new. The hostess is super friendly and fulfills all wishes.

The accommodation is perfect for exploring the west and south-west of Crete. We can also recommend the sandy beaches in Kalyves, which are also ideal for children. Just ask the hostess if you want to go on excursions or have a good meal. She always helps.

Nous avons passé 4 jours tres confortable comme chez nous. L appartement est très bien équipé dans la cuisine et la salle d'eau. Un panier de bienvenu à été préparé dès l'arrivé avec des fruits de saison. Elles nous préparent également chaque jour des petites surprises avant la rentrée, des biscuits maison, des conseils pour lendemain... Le wifi est individuel par appartement et la vitesse est très bonne.||La décoration est moderne et "artiste", pleins d articles faites à la main.||Nous y séjournerons sûrement une prochaine fois...

Gli appartamenti sono davvero ottimi perché nuovi molto puliti e ben tenuti. La cucina e ben attrezzata non manca nulla nemmeno la moka. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato olio sale zucchero e frutta fresca. Molto gentili e disponibili i gestori che ci hanno accolti maniera calorosa. Davvero molto consigliato!!!!

Tips: Kalyves is a lovely quite village with many lovely attractions, walks and restaurants. For me the best restaurant serving tasty local cuisine it the Icarus which is 15 minute walk from Avra.

Wonderful apartments, with superb views over the bay,easy walking distance to beach and the numerous restaurants. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would not hesitate to recommend these apartments to anyone wanting a relaxed holiday
