Absolutely Perfect My husband and I stayed here for 10 wonderful days. The owners were warm, welcoming and happy to help with reccomendations for restaurants, day trips etc. Most of the time we ate out because the local cusine is very tasty but there is everything you need to cook for yourself. The rooms were immaculately clean with a comfy bed, hot shower and easy to use air conditioning. The town square and beach are less than a 10 minute walk away. Overall I can honestly say it was perfect accomodation and perfect location.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Avra apartment and wished we’d booked longer. Have to say the place is finished to a very high standard, very modern and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable place to stay, the apartment has everything you need for a much longer stay. The location is ideal with tavernas and beaches only a short walk. Fantastic view of the see from our balcony.

Υπέροχος οικοδεσπότης ! Καλά εστιατόρια, καφετέριες και περίχωρα.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce petit duplex, parfait pour 2 personnes. On a vraiment apprécié les petites attentions des hôtes et leur gentillesse. De même cet appartement dispose de 2 terrasses qui ont fait notre bonheur. Kalyves est un petit village paisible doté d’une plage ( à 3mn du logement) et situé à 30mn de la Chania.

Ons verblijf was perfect.

We hebben werkelijk nog nooit eerder zo'n mooi en compleet appartement gehad. Van een volledige keukeninrichting met broodrooster, keukenmachine, toaster, citruspers, afwasmachine, koffiezetapparaten om op 2 manieren koffie te kunnen zetten, koffie, thee, chocolademelkpoeder, afwasblokjes, peper/zout, maar ook een wasmachine, strijkbout en plank, 2x badkamers, 2 fohns, Zelfs speelgoed voor onze kleinzoon werd gebracht. En dan heb ik nog niet eens alles genoemd. Daarnaast stond er een gevulde fruitmand, een fleswijn en flesje Raki als welkom klaar.
En dan kwamen de eigenaren ook nog vragen of we iets misten. Nou werkelijk ik kon niets bedenken. Overigens zeer vriendelijke, toegankelijke mensen.
Het balkonhek vonden wij niet helemaal veilig voor onze 1 1/2 jaar oude kleinzoon en hier werd gelijk de volgende dag en mooie oplossing voor gemonteerd. Echt top!

Dit appartement is absoluut een aanrader! Wij geven het een dikke 10!

Perfect place for a family including everything that you need! 😀 - We really enjoyed our stay at Avra Apartments. Everything was absolutely amazing: the location, the apartment, the amenities and the cleanliness. The apartment was fully equipped with everything making our stay very confortable and the hosts were really hospitable and kind, offerring even toys for our toddler, which was a nice bonus to our stay. Such a beautiful place to stay! The town was within a few minutes walking distance. Having a spot to park your car was a bonus.
Stelios gave great suggestions for eating out. Great location if you’re wanting to see some things around the area with a car.

Would definitely stay again.

Gli appartamenti sono davvero ottimi perché nuovi molto puliti e ben tenuti. La cucina e ben attrezzata non manca nulla nemmeno la moka. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato olio sale zucchero e frutta fresca. Molto gentili e disponibili i gestori che ci hanno accolti maniera calorosa. Davvero molto consigliato!!!!

Siamo stati accolti da Natasa, un host da 10 e lode. Si è interessata più volte sull’andamento del nostro soggiorno durante la nostra permanenza. L’appartamento è come in foto ed è tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Potrete trovare una lavatrice, molto utile soprattutto per soggiorni medio lunghi.
Natasa è stata sempre super disponibile e cordiale, ci ha fatto proprio sentire a casa.
Un altro punto a favore, per nulla scontato è stato la pulizia, il cambio lenzuola e asciugami avvenuto più volte durante i nostri 10 gg di pernottamento.
Vi consigliamo assolutamente di scegliere questi appartamenti se volete godervi una vacanza all’insegna di pace e tranquillità.

We had an amazing stay at Avra apartments! Everything was perfect, the warm welcome, the cosy feel of the apartment. Everything was really well thought out, and there were lots of little touches that made it extra special. The hosts were so friendly, kind and helpful, making us feel really welcome. It was beautifully clean, and in the perfect location in Kalyves. Thank you for everything!

Tips for other travellers:
There are so many amazing walks in the area, it’s great to explore on foot or with the local bus service we especially loved walking to Douliana and having lunch overlooking the white mountains. Beautiful quiet beaches near to the Synka supermarket. Cactus is great for cocktails! You always get a warm welcome at Stella’s bar. There are some great Tavernas in Kalyves. Koumos is a must see!

This is a beautiful gem of a property in a well-appointed and cared for group of apartments. Right from the moment we were welcomed in person by the host, we knew that this place was special. Loads of attention to detail, from its seaside themed ambiance to its well-appointment kitchen, this place is definitely a home-from-home! With its west-facing patio, comfortable bed and a gorgeous bathroom, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more lovely place to stay. We can't recommend this accommodation more highly!
