We had a wonderful 2 weeks stay at Stelios’ & Natasa’s place! The apartment is beautiful and spotlessly clean, just as in the photos, kitchen was well stocked and Natasa awaited us with some fruits and local alcohol location is close to Chania and LOTS of amazing beaches and things to see. Communication with Natasa was great, lots of great local recommendations. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed 7 nights at the Ostria apartment in Avra Apartments hosted by Stelios and his wife Natasa. The apartment is very nice, very practical. We found everything you might need (air dryer, washing machine, cutleries and dishes). The place was very clean and we also appreciated a lot the mid-stay cleaning service. Stelios and Natasa are very friendly and helpful, their suggestions were precious and really helped us during our stay. There is a reserved free parking spot just in front of the apartment.
We truly recommend this place and we really enjoyed our stay!

Η διαμονή μας στο Avra διαμερίσματα ήταν τέλεια! Η διαμονή μας στο Avra διαμερίσματα ήταν τέλεια! Ήταν η πρώτη μας φορά στην Κρήτη, σε πέντε χρόνια σχεδόν, αφού ζούσαν εκεί για τέσσερα χρόνια. Ως εκ τούτου, δεν ήταν κυρίως ενδιαφέρει επισκεπτόμενη φίλους στα Χανιά και αρχικά προγραμματίσει να μείνουμε κάπου στην πόλη. Μένοντας σε κοντινή απόσταση θα διευκολύνει επίσης θα παραλίες τριγύρω, π.χ., στον Άγιο Apostolis ή στο Ακρωτήρι, με τα παιδιά μας (1 και 4 ετών). Επειδή ήμασταν με τα παιδιά, μπορούμε επίσης να απαιτείται κάποια επιπλέον άνεση. Όταν είχαμε την πρόταση να μείνετε σε καλύβες στο Avra Apartments ήμασταν λίγο επιφυλακτικοί λόγω της μεγάλης απόστασης από το κέντρο της πόλης. Καλά, παρά το γεγονός αυτό, που διαμένουν στο Avra τελείωσε η καλύτερη απόφαση στο ταξίδι μας. Δεδομένου ότι επρόκειτο για να νοικιάσετε ένα αυτοκίνητο, ούτως ή άλλως, το 20-λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο μεταξύ καλύβες και τα Χανιά δεν ήταν καθόλου πρόβλημα και θα μπορούσαμε ακόμα και να επιστρέψετε το απόγευμα για το παιδικό nap και επιστρέψτε στην πόλη το βράδυ για να συναντήσετε τους φίλους σας. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν το Οstria, το οποίο ήταν πολύ άνετο, ευρύχωρο και είχαμε όλες τις παροχές που δημοσιεύθηκε στην ιστοσελίδα. Πράγματι, έχουμε ό,τι χρειάζεται για μία εβδομάδα διαμονή. Τα διαμερίσματα βρίσκονται πολύ κοντά στο τοπικό σούπερ μάρκετ, σε ένα μίνι μάρκετ, ενοικίαση ποδηλάτων και ακόμα και σε κομμωτήριο. Στην παραλία μπορεί επίσης να είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμα με τα πόδια και διαρκεί μόνο λίγα λεπτά με τα πόδια για να φτάσετε στην κεντρική περιοχή των Καλυβών, όπου μπορεί κανείς να βρει περισσότερες καταστήματα και εστιατόρια. Η γειτονιά είναι ήσυχο και φιλικό. Πήραμε και λίγο φρέσκο αγγούρια...ήταν, αυγά και τα λεμόνια, από ένα neighboor. Οι ιδιοκτήτες Νατάσα και Στέλιος (δεν έχουμε εκπληρώσει Ana) ήταν πολύ φιλικοί και ήταν ιδιαίτερα προσεκτικοί, διότι είχαμε τα παιδιά, φροντίζοντας να είχαμε όλα όσα χρειαζόμασταν. Εμείς συνιστούμε definetelly που έμεναν εκεί και ελπίζω να τους επισκέπτες τους ξανά σε λίγα χρόνια!

Vielen Dank für alles, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem sehr liebevoll und gut eingerichteten Appartment in ruhiger Umgebung. Wir freuten uns sehr über die Grundausstattung und vor allem über das frische Obst. Auf der Terrasse genossen wir die schöne Aussicht aufs Meer. Stelios hat uns viele Tipps für Aktivitäten und Restaurants gegeben.

The apartment was just amazing!
Very clean, very pretty, exactly as shown on the pictures, amazing view, everything we needed was there, especially in the kitchen and the bathroom.
That is just surpassed by the extremely (I assume wife of the host Stelios) Natasha! She checked in with us every day without being annoying, she had the best recommendations for Kalyves and the surrounding villages and the whole area of Chania. We were so satisfied by that! She also made sure the cleaning is on the right day so that it fits our plans and could answer every question we had.

Also, Kalyves is a nice little village and we got everything we needed from the lots of little stores (small supermarkets, butcher, bakery etc.) on the main street, which was just around the corner.
The apartment was easy to find and also had a parking spot for our rented car.
All in all, it couldn't have been any better, I would highly recommend this stay!

Wir waren zwei Wochen hier.
Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit!
Der Check-in hat wunderbar geklappt obwohl wir durch den Flug verspätet ankamen.
Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen und dies hat sich jeden Tag wiederholt.
Die beiden waren immer herzlich, hilfsbereit, freundlich und umsichtig.
Wir haben die besten Tipps für Ausflüge, Strände und Restaurants bekommen und konnten uns immer an die beiden wenden.
Wenn wir etwas brauchten, hat es nur wenige Minuten gedauert, bis sich darum gekümmert wurde.
Auch als wir krank wurden, wurden wir unterstützt und man hat sich mehrfach nach uns und unserem Zustand erkundigt.
Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, die Putzfrau hat immer sehr gründlich geputzt.
Es hat uns an überhaupt nichts gefehlt.
Das Appartement ist in einem top Zustand und 1:1 wie auf den Fotos. Liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht!
Das Meer ist nur einen Blick entfernt und das Dorf fußläufig zu erreichen.
Wir sind sehr zufrieden und danken für die tolle Zeit <3

Apartment Siroko Aug/Sept 2020 Sehr schönes Apartment mit guter Ausstattung. Durch die Nordlage hat man Morgensonne und tagsüber bis nachmittags Schatten auf zwei sehr schönen Terrassen mit Meerblick. Ideal für die heißen Sommermonate. Die Betten sind gut, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Stelios und Natasia sind sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, jederzeit erreichbar und mit sehr guten Empfehlungen bzgl. Ausflügen und Gastronomie. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Appartamento pulito e confortevole, in una zona molto tranquilla. Stelios è stato un host super ospitale, gentile e simpatico. Consigliato per chi vuole un alloggio lontano dalle zone turistiche affollate.

Stayed at Avra Apartments during Christmas 2021 whilst house searching in the local area. We wasn't originally supposed to be staying here but we had a bad experience at an another Air B&B so abandoned that one and found Avra Apartments last minute, a couple of days before Christmas. Natasa and the hosts were absolutely fantastic, we informed them of our poor experience at the other apartment, and they had the heating ready for us to arrive. We spent up to New years Eve there, and Natasa was great asking how we were getting on and recommending her favourite restaurants open out of season as well as the gifts of wine, fruit and treats. There is a fantastic cake bakery at the bottom of the drive that we use all the time when in Kalyves. Apartments are great size and modern. The location is great and easy to walk into town. Some parking spaces are available, but if not, parking is available nearby. The TV had Netflix installed so we could plug into our account during the evenings. We're very grateful to Avra for their hospitality.
