Great place to stay. Beautiful and clean. Great location Beautifully decorated room. Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely veranda to relax on. Comfortable bed and really nice powerful shower. The hosts were brilliant and gave us great recommendations of where to go and see. Great bakery/cake shop situated within 1 minute of Avra. Full size supermarket within 5 minutes. Exceptionally clean and easy free car park right at the door of our apartment. Thanks very much

Traum Urlaub in Avra Apartment Kalives Von unseren Vermietern Anna, Natasa und Stelios wurden wir herzlich begrüßt und während unsers Aufenthaltes hervorragend betreut. Gas gesamte Haus verfügt über mehrere Apartments, die alle sehr gepflegt sind.und alle Annehmlichkeiten haben, die den Urlaub schön machen. Wlan funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig, deie Strände sind aber leicht auch zu Fuss erreichbar. Baden war ein Traum im seidenweichen Wasser. Wir waren nach zwei Wochen rundum erholt und würden jederzeit wieder in den Avra Studios Urlaub machen.

From the moment you step in you feel most welcomed as you will discover fresh fruits on the table, and cold water and raki in the refrigerator 🙂 ||This comfortable, clean and cozy place is ideal for a family. Stelios and Natasa, the owners, are always happy to help you with tips and recommendations for things to do in Crete. It's always a pleasure to stay at Avra. We'll be back soon!

The apartment was just amazing!
Very clean, very pretty, exactly as shown on the pictures, amazing view, everything we needed was there, especially in the kitchen and the bathroom.
That is just surpassed by the extremely (I assume wife of the host Stelios) Natasha! She checked in with us every day without being annoying, she had the best recommendations for Kalyves and the surrounding villages and the whole area of Chania. We were so satisfied by that! She also made sure the cleaning is on the right day so that it fits our plans and could answer every question we had.

Also, Kalyves is a nice little village and we got everything we needed from the lots of little stores (small supermarkets, butcher, bakery etc.) on the main street, which was just around the corner.
The apartment was easy to find and also had a parking spot for our rented car.
All in all, it couldn't have been any better, I would highly recommend this stay!

Avra Apartment was perfect for the relaxed vacation we were looking for. Close to beaches, restaurants and shops.
The apartment had more utilities than expected and was very clean and nicely decorated.
Stelios and Natasa are wonderful hosts, we felt like home there!

Stunning apartment right by the ocean. Even better than it looks in the pictures. Stelios was friendly and helpful; he helped us arrange a car and greeted us for check in and check out. The apartment had everything you could need and was only a short drive from Chania. Truly a lovely place to stay and we’d highly recommend it!

Εκπληκτικό από όλες τις απόψεις! Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουμε την διαμονή μας στα συγκεκριμένα διαμερίσματα! Προσφάτως ανακαινισμένα, με τους ιδιοκτήτες να έχουν βάλει την προσωπική τους πινελιά στην διακόσμηση, η οποία ξεφεύγει από τις κοινότυπες περιπτώσεις δωματίων θερινής διαμονής!
Πέρα από τα όμορφα δωμάτια, εκείνο που μας έκανε πολύ θετική εντύπωση ήταν η φιλική συμπεριφορά των ιδιοκτητών και η διάθεσή τους να μας εξυπηρετήσουν σε ότι τους ζητήσαμε! Αν και έχω πάει αρκετές φορές στην Κρήτη, οι πληροφορίες που μας έδωσαν για τα αξιοθέατα του νησιού ήταν τόσο αναλυτικές, γεγονός που σε έκανε να νιώσεις πως δεν έχεις δει τίποτα! 🙂
Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν καθαρό, ευρύχωρο με καλό γούστο στην διακόσμηση, διέθετε κλιματισμό, tv, κουζίνα, ψυγείο και μια εκπληκτική θέα στην θάλασσα, η οποία απείχε μερικές μόνο δεκάδες μέτρα.
Το χωριό Καλύβες, διέθετε ότι χρειαζόμασταν από εστιατόρια, σουπερ μαρκετ, κτλ, όποτε εξυπηρετηθήκαμε άνετα. Βρίσκεται κοντά σχετικά στα Χανιά, με το πλεονέκτημα της δυνατότητας να μπορέσαμε να αποφύγουμε την πολυκοσμία και την φασαρία της πόλης, ενώ είμασταν αρκετά κοντά στο να την επισκεπτόμαστε όποτε επιθυμούσαμε.
Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!

Οι φωτογραφίες της ιστοσελίδας του τα λένε όλα.Τίμιοι και ειλικρινείς οι ιδιοκτήτες του. Ότι βλέπετε στις φωτογραφίες και περιγράφουν οι ιδιοκτήτες ....και ακόμη , όχι καλύτερο, . σχεδόν..πολυτελές !!!! Δεν του λείπει τίποτα ακριβώς! Σχεδιασμένο και μελετημένο ΆΡΙΣΤΑ!! Η τιμή του καταλύματος ,ΤΙΜΙΑ! Σέβονται τους πελάτες τους από όλες τις απόψεις για να έχουν τέλεια διαμονή! Εξοπλισμένο πλήρως! Κουζίνα με όλα τα παρελκόμενα και με όλη την γκάμα των ηλεκτρικών συσκευών...Από φρυγανιέρα έως εσπρεσιέρα! Κλιματισμός ΆΡΙΣΤΟΣ! Το στρώμα και το κρεβάτι άψογα !Όποιος μείνει εκεί αποκλείεται να μην θέλει να ξαναμείνει!Σας ευχαριστούμε! Μακάρι να είχαμε κλείσει νωρίτερα,για να βρίσκαμε περισσότερες μέρες διαμονής! Λυπάμαι που δεν σας είχα ανακαλύψει από πέρυσι που πρωτοήρθα στις Καλύβες!! Αν ξανάρθω ξανά ,θα είναι μόνο εάν είναι να μείνω σε εσάς!Ευχαριστούμε!

Stelios, Natasa and their family are truly amazing hosts. They did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Their personalities mirror the atmosphere of the apartment: you just have to feel relaxed. It was especially kind of them to provide various toys and amenities for our baby son. We would always recommend staying at their apartment(s).
+ the neighbour were also very nice!

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Avra apartment and wished we’d booked longer. Have to say the place is finished to a very high standard, very modern and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable place to stay, the apartment has everything you need for a much longer stay. The location is ideal with tavernas and beaches only a short walk. Fantastic view of the see from our balcony.

Fabulous stay at Stelios & Natasa’s! They were both very kind and helpful. There were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. We also loved the balcony in the apartment. We would certainly recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Kalyves!

Η κρητική φιλοξενία στα καλύτερά της! Τέλεια τοποθεσία στο παραθαλάσσιο χωριό Καλύβες, κοντά στην πόλη των Χανίων. Η διαμονή μας ξεκίνησε με το ομορφότερο καλωσόρισμα στο μεγάλο μπαλκόνι του διαμερίσματος Σιρόκο, με ρακές και θέα προς τη θάλασσα! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν τεράστιο, πεντακάθαρο και πρόσφερε τις ανέσεις που βρίσκεις μόνο στο σπίτι σου! Η διακόσμηση έδενε αρμονικά με το κρητικό τοπίο και ξεχώριζε με τις χειροποίητες λεπτομέρειες. Ο Στέλιος και η Νατάσα μας υποδέχτηκαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο και καθ΄ όλη τη διαμονή μας κέρδισαν με τη φιλοξενία, την αυθεντικότητα και τη ζεστασιά τους. Ανυπομονούμε να ξανάρθουμε!
