Fabulous stay at Stelios & Natasa’s! They were both very kind and helpful. There were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. We also loved the balcony in the apartment. We would certainly recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying in Kalyves!

😀 - This place was fabulous. It was clean and tidy and it felt like home from home as there were nicknacks and Christmas decorations put up. There were also some 'welcome treats'. We ended up extending our stay!

Great place with ocean view from the balcony. Super quiet just at the end of the tiny but cosy village.
Stelios was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Wizyta sierpień 2021. Super czysto, co 4 dni było sprzątane, wymieniane prześcieradła i ręczniki. Właściciele przemili. Żadnych ukrytych opłat. Klimatyzacja w cenie. Dałbym 6 gwiazdek, ponieważ po raz pierwszy spotkaliśmy się z tak ciepłym przyjęciem i mega czystym apartamentem. Poza tym wszędzie blisko i cicho, tylko te cykady.... Styczeń 2022 Dostaliśmy kartkę świąteczną, jesteśmy w szoku. Tyle już podróżujemy i po raz pierwszy się z tym spotkaliśmy. Bardzo miły gest.

Stelios was a very accomodating and responsive host. The place was clean, well equipped and had beautiful ocean views.

Τέλεια τοποθεσία στο παραθαλάσσιο χωριό Καλύβες, κοντά στην πόλη των Χανίων. Η διαμονή μας ξεκίνησε με το ομορφότερο καλωσόρισμα στο μεγάλο μπαλκόνι του διαμερίσματος Σιρόκο, με ρακές και θέα προς τη θάλασσα! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν τεράστιο, πεντακάθαρο και πρόσφερε τις ανέσεις που βρίσκεις μόνο στο σπίτι σου! Η διακόσμηση έδενε αρμονικά με το κρητικό τοπίο και ξεχώριζε με τις χειροποίητες λεπτομέρειες. Ο Στέλιος και η Νατάσα μας υποδέχτηκαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο και καθ΄ όλη τη διαμονή μας κέρδισαν με τη φιλοξενία, την αυθεντικότητα και τη ζεστασιά τους. Ανυπομονούμε να ξανάρθουμε!

We had an amazing stay. Very peaceful apartment and close to the beach. We felt like at home. The apartment had everything what we wished for. We hope to come back soon. Strongly recommend it.

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement Levantes durant une semaine. Ce logement est d'une propreté irréprochable et la décoration est de très bon goût. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Merci à Stelios pour sa sympathie et son accueil.

Proche de toutes les commodités, un endroit cocooning Natasia nous a accueilli très chaleureusement Nous avions réservé l’appartement Ostria pour deux personnes La chambre était indépendante et l’espace très grand, la cuisine très bien équipée Un petit balcon extérieur Le tout était bien décoré et très propre, pas loin, à pied, des commerces de Kalyves, de la mer et des restaurants Il y a un parking À recommander

Stelios and his family are awesome hosts! Very thoughtful, super nice and always happy to give tips. We really liked the space and enjoyed our time. We hope to come back sometime!

We (3) enjoyed our stay a lot, also because of the beautiful apartment, the interior is modern, cozy and very nice and well-divided for 3-4 persons.
the views are excellent, so is the service (cleaning, warm welcome etc.). the kitchen is also very well-euqipped so no problem to cook and have meals at home.
we stayed in early november and also enjoyed the chimney 😉
Tips for other travellers
it´s an excellent home base for all short & long trips to Crete, especially in the eastern part (eg. Chania, Elafonisi, etc.); many restaurants etc. around, also directly in Kalyves, a nice beach is in walking distance, plus there´s a Almyrida just around the corner.
