Stelios is the nicest host. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll und modern renoviert. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Der Wohnbereich und die 2 Schlafzimmer sind offen, hell und gemütlich. Das Meer ist von allen 3 Balkonen aus zu sehen. Die Einkaufslage im Ort ist komfortabel, einer von mehreren Stränden in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders gefallen haben uns die Wanderungen in der direkten Umgebung, die Täler sind traumhaft. Die Vermieterinnen sind äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

One of the most pretty and cozy AirBnBs we've ever been to.
Very clean and well equipped appartment with many little friendly details.
The host even supported us with a problem of a barking dog at night.
They are very friendly and want you to have a great vacation.

Just Perfect! Definitely a unique small family enterprise run by Stelios, Natasa and Anna who immediately greet you with such warmth and friendliness...... already you feel genuinely welcome. The welcome extended also to entering the apartment where you can't help noticing how everything is so exceptionally clean and well thought out. Crockery, cutlery etc all of good quality and condition. A wonderful bowl of fruit, wine and water awaits your arrival. The apartments are situated in a quiet area of Kalyves but close to all amenities with a lovely Patisserie on the corner selling well known homemade cheese and spinach pies and lovely bread. Special memories of sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea watching the little fishing boats and sometimes the cruise ships could be seen making their way to Chania. No need to take binnoculars - these are also provided for your use. Do hope every visitor to the apartments enjoy as we did - 'JUST PERFECT!

Πραγματικά μοναδικό, φιλόξενο, κοντά στα Χανιά, σε ένα πολύ όμορφο χωριό με υπέροχους ιδιοκτήτες, και το πιο σημαντικό για μένα είναι πάρα πολύ καθαρό.... Μπράβο Στέλιο και Χριστίνα! !!!

Erg aan te raden Airbnb! Zeer vriendelijke hosts en een mooi appartement. We waren positief verrast. Er zat zelfs schoonmaak, nieuw beddengoed en badlakens bij in. Ook ligt het appartement op een mooie locatie waar van alles te doen is in de buurt en op loopafstand van 2 zandstranden.

Both Natasha and Stelios were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was excellent for us , though we have been to Kalvyes a number of times before this is the best apartment we have been in . Well equipped everything you need.
We will hopefully be back!!

Abbiamo trascorso una piacevole vacanza, i proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili. Per qualunque informazione riguardo spiagge e ristoranti chiedete a loro. L’appartamento è in un’ottima posizione all’interno di un villaggio autentico è lontano dal caos delle città più grandi.

stelios קיבל אותנו בלבביות, חיכו לנו פירות וראקי בחדר.
החדר היה הכי נוח וביתי שהיה לנו כאן בטיול, יש בו כל מה שצריך ויותר!
המקום משופץ ונעים ומרגיש בייתי! והעיירה קטנה ומתוקה, יש חוף במרחק הליכה והרבה מקומות לשבת. גם טברנה של מוזיקה חיה פעמיים בשבוע.
הארכנו את השהות בחדר כי היה מאוד נעים ונהנו מהאיזור.
יש גם מסלולי הליכה יחסית קרובים וזו גם חוויה מעולה, stelios המליץ לנו על כמה.
בהחלט נרצה לחזור למקום!

You haven't met Crete like this If you truly want to experience a wonderful part of Crete in a true wonderful style, then you have to visit Avra apartments, located in a place near the main town of Chania, but away from the loud music, high pricing (of the town center) and embraced by the best owners you can't go wrong! Stelios and Natassa are there to help you with everything (hint, they know every single inch of Crete) as true adventurers and full of Greek hospitality they will happily guide you in some of the most lovely yet unknown places in Crete. If you truly want to experience Crete and discover it's heritage and it's beauty then this is the place to be! Hint, ask for a Cretan breakfast....and then for directions to how you should spend the rest of your day, you won't regret it!
