Wizyta sierpień 2021.

Super czysto, co 4 dni było sprzątane, wymieniane prześcieradła i ręczniki. Właściciele przemili. Żadnych ukrytych opłat. Klimatyzacja w cenie. Dałbym 6 gwiazdek, ponieważ po raz pierwszy spotkaliśmy się z tak ciepłym przyjęciem i mega czystym apartamentem. Poza tym wszędzie blisko i cicho, tylko te cykady....

Dostaliśmy kartkę świąteczną, jesteśmy w szoku. Tyle już podróżujemy i po raz pierwszy się z tym spotkaliśmy. Bardzo miły gest.

Exceptional 😀 - hospitality of the owner, he greeted us personally and prepared a refreshment (fruit, water and raki), spacious apartment with everything you need, fully equipped.

The hosts Natasa and Stellios were absolutely lovely! The location was a dream, view over the Mediterranean sea and within walking distance to gorgeous beaches and good restaurants. The place was extremely clean. The apartment are beautifully decorated with artistic personal touches of some lovely pictures. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and have a very modern elegant touch. Airconditioning gives great relief from heat when you need it. Fresh bedcolths toilet paper and towels were changed every two days. What I personally also liked very much was that the hosts are environmental orientated, and make it easy for any guest to recycle plastics, and is discreetly evident through tge provided recycling bags and the clean linen bags for shopping. On arrival we were greeted in an exceptionally friendly and forthcoming manner. Also a lovely bottle of vine and Raki was also part of the generous welcome. When we sadly had to leave we were given a beautiful hand painted goodbye present! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful scenic and relaxed place to stay. Perfect for couples and families with kids. Absolutely exceptional!|

Exceptional 😀 - Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und umsorgt, so dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben! Das Apartment ist außergewöhnlich. Das Design ist perfekt abgestimmt. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Das Apartment ist ruhig gelegen und die Aussicht grandios. Kalyves ist ein angenehmer und ruhiger Ort, sehr authentisch. Ein perfekter Ort, um Westkreta zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😞 - None

Stelios and Natasa were extremely welcoming and helpful during my stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. It was calm and relaxing. Would recommend it.

We (3) enjoyed our stay a lot, also because of the beautiful apartment, the interior is modern, cozy and very nice and well-divided for 3-4 persons.
the views are excellent, so is the service (cleaning, warm welcome etc.). the kitchen is also very well-euqipped so no problem to cook and have meals at home.
we stayed in early november and also enjoyed the chimney 😉
Tips for other travellers
it´s an excellent home base for all short & long trips to Crete, especially in the eastern part (eg. Chania, Elafonisi, etc.); many restaurants etc. around, also directly in Kalyves, a nice beach is in walking distance, plus there´s a Almyrida just around the corner.

We found Avra Apartments by accident as they had a free week which coincided with our holiday, the apartments are rarely Liked·location, cleanliness, views, privacy, fully equipped, superb communication with the owners from start to finish.

Highly recommend!! We came to Kalyves for some rest and relaxation and our stay at Avra apartments exceeded this expectation. The apartment was very clean, stocked with all the essentials plus some, and the terrace was the perfect place to start every day - we even arrived to some welcome gifts. Stelios was incredibly accommodating and responsive, quickly providing us with additional amenities, such as beach towels. Chania and its surrounding areas were amazing, but this accommodation really made it feel like home away from home. The whole trip was perfect thanks to Stelios’ help! Avra apartments exceeded our expectations in every way! Hope to come back soon!

We had an amazing stay. Very peaceful apartment and close to the beach. We felt like at home. The apartment had everything what we wished for. We hope to come back soon. Strongly recommend it.

A very good location for those who want to be near/in the village Kalyves, and those who prioritise a location without noise during nighttime. The apartment was found to be very clean, and with very good and friendly support from the hosts.
Visiting the place in April is probably a ballot with regards to weather, which we knew in advance. And a tip; There is a bakery close to the apartment, and the standard phrase from the bakery staff whenever we went in there and asked for croissants was: "Maybe tomorrow". So just be prepared. (but they have a lot of other good stuff!
