Stayed at Avra Apartments during Christmas 2021 whilst house searching in the local area. We wasn't originally supposed to be staying here but we had a bad experience at an another Air B&B so abandoned that one and found Avra Apartments last minute, a couple of days before Christmas. Natasa and the hosts were absolutely fantastic, we informed them of our poor experience at the other apartment, and they had the heating ready for us to arrive. We spent up to New years Eve there, and Natasa was great asking how we were getting on and recommending her favourite restaurants open out of season as well as the gifts of wine, fruit and treats. There is a fantastic cake bakery at the bottom of the drive that we use all the time when in Kalyves.
Apartments are great size and modern.
The location is great and easy to walk into town. Some parking spaces are available, but if not, parking is available nearby. The TV had Netflix installed so we could plug into our account during the evenings. We're very grateful to Avra for their hospitality.

Exceptional Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Man fühlt sich super willkommen. In direkter Nähe zur Wohnung sind zwei schöne Strände und viele Cafes und Restaurants.

Stelios et Natasa ont fait de leur logement un petit cocon où il fait bon vivre. Il est parfaitement équipé de tout le confort que vous souhaitez et il est merveilleusement décoré, il ne manque rien.
Il est bien situé, à quelques centaines de mètres des plages, du supermarché et du village.
N’oublions pas, la mention spéciale pour l’accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes et de leurs délicates attentions durant tout le séjour.

Nous recherchions un logement tranquille et comfortable pour un séjour de vélo et ce logement était parfait pour ça.
La communication avec Stelios était facile, le logement très bien équipé et fonctionnel.
A 20 minutes de route de Chania, plusieurs belles routes pour le vélo, près de la mer et des montagnes.

Superb 😀 - Super accueil de Natasha. Appartement décoré avec goût, très propre, tout équipé, très bonne literie, il ne manquait rien ! Lieu très calme. Parking privé. Restaurant recommandé par Natasha était excellent à 500m de l'appartement. Nous avons mangé du poisson frais 😋à ne pas louper.

Stayed in 2 bed apartment Altemi. So incredibly comfortable and well-designed. Super well-equipped kitchen, cushioned reclining chairs on the balcony and great beds. Natasa was lovely, gave us beach towels, fruit, wine and raki. Downstairs there were books and beach things to borrow. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely come back.

Both Natasha and Stelios were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was excellent for us , though we have been to Kalvyes a number of times before this is the best apartment we have been in . Well equipped everything you need.

Tips: Kalyves is a lovely quite village with many lovely attractions, walks and restaurants. For me the best restaurant serving tasty local cuisine it the Icarus which is 15 minute walk from Avra.

It’s been a pleasure staying in this beautiful apartment in Kalyves. A few of my family also stayed in the village and we had the best accommodation by far. Thank you to Stellios and Natasa for helping make our holiday special!

Exceptional 😀 - hospitality of the owner, he greeted us personally and prepared a refreshment (fruit, water and raki), spacious apartment with everything you need, fully equipped.
