Stelios and Natasa were very nice hosts-friendly, welcoming, helpful.

Apartment had 2 lovely balconies, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and good bathroom, and was super-clean.

Well-sited for beaches, restaurants, supermarket etc;

We had a very nice time there, and would recommend.
Tips for other travellers
Both beaches are good for swimming. Plenty of local circular walks. The walks to Armeni, and to the Koiliairis river and old Venetian windmill were particularly good.

Plenty of good tavernas to choose from.

Our third stay in Avra Apartments - did not think about other accommodation in Chania region. Cozy rooms, clean, well equipped - everything functional. High level of care and hospitality - feel like at home - thank you Natasa !!!

Nous avons passé 4 jours tres confortable comme chez nous. L appartement est très bien équipé dans la cuisine et la salle d'eau. Un panier de bienvenu à été préparé dès l'arrivé avec des fruits de saison. Elles nous préparent également chaque jour des petites surprises avant la rentrée, des biscuits maison, des conseils pour lendemain... Le wifi est individuel par appartement et la vitesse est très bonne.||La décoration est moderne et "artiste", pleins d articles faites à la main.||Nous y séjournerons sûrement une prochaine fois...

Feeling home away in beautiful Crete 😀 - Very helpful owners, size of the apartment, individual terrace with sea view and a washing machine for our mid-holiday needs. We had a perfect stay that helped us discovering a new to us region. Natasa was very helpful. In Kalyves we could also recommend the restaurant Mythos, were we had several great and affordable dinners. 😞 - Nothing.

Είχαμε μια πολύ ευχάριστη διαμονή με το 4 μηνών μωρό μας. Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και συνολικά το διαμέρισμα είναι καλά εξοπλισμένο. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ κοντά σε ωραίες παραλίες και στα υπέροχα χωριά γύρω από τον Βάμο. Επίσης, τα Χανιά είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμα με το αυτοκίνητο. Συνολικά, συνιστάται ανεπιφύλακτα. Το μόνο μειονέκτημα ήταν τα σεντόνια, αλλά είναι τυπικό για την Ελλάδα. Υποθέτω ότι είμαστε κακομαθημένοι με τα βαμβακερά/σατέν σεντόνια μας🤣

The appartment was splendid, the view excellent - even better than on the photos. The appartment was clean, much bigger than imagined and the host was very nice.

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war wunderschön und ließ keine Wünsche offen! Die Gastgeber waren zu jeder Zeit erreichbar, haben uns tolle Restaurant Empfehlungen gegeben und waren jederzeit hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und hat einem Alles geboten um eine schöne Zeit auf Kreta zu verbringen
