It was a pleasure to stay in this apartment. Natasa waited us at check in, there is a free parking spot at the apartment, had some fruits and other nice surprises in the apartment, we really appreciated it! 🙂 We enjoyed the area, 1 minute away from the sea and a couple more to the beach, nice bakery and restaurants/cafés also just a few minutes away; Kalyves is a nice and not so big city. Apartment is peaceful, we could have long sleeps 🙂 All in all, I gladly recommend it to anyone!

Stelios was a very accomodating and responsive host. The place was clean, well equipped and had beautiful ocean views.

Τέλεια τοποθεσία στο παραθαλάσσιο χωριό Καλύβες, κοντά στην πόλη των Χανίων. Η διαμονή μας ξεκίνησε με το ομορφότερο καλωσόρισμα στο μεγάλο μπαλκόνι του διαμερίσματος Σιρόκο, με ρακές και θέα προς τη θάλασσα! Το διαμέρισμα ήταν τεράστιο, πεντακάθαρο και πρόσφερε τις ανέσεις που βρίσκεις μόνο στο σπίτι σου! Η διακόσμηση έδενε αρμονικά με το κρητικό τοπίο και ξεχώριζε με τις χειροποίητες λεπτομέρειες. Ο Στέλιος και η Νατάσα μας υποδέχτηκαν με τον καλύτερο τρόπο και καθ΄ όλη τη διαμονή μας κέρδισαν με τη φιλοξενία, την αυθεντικότητα και τη ζεστασιά τους. Ανυπομονούμε να ξανάρθουμε!

Stelios en zijn vrouw zijn ontzettend aardige mensen. Ze weten veel over de omgeving en hebben ons leuke tips gegeven. We hebben het contact met hen als er prettig ervaren. De Airbnb zat op een prettige plek tussen de lokale bevolking en vlak bij het strand. Binnen het dorp is alles op loopafstand, wat erg handig is. De Airbnb zag er brandschoon uit en alle dingen die je nodig hebt zijn aanwezig. Er waren zelfs parasols die je kon meenemen naar het strand. In de omgeving is ontzettend veel te doen. Wij hebben enorm genoten en raden jullie dit verblijf van harte aan!

😀 - This place was fabulous. It was clean and tidy and it felt like home from home as there were nicknacks and Christmas decorations put up. There were also some 'welcome treats'. We ended up extending our stay!

All I can say is just perfect. Perfect room, perfect view, perfect hospitality. Everything you need is well thought and the room is fully equipped, including washing machine, hair dryer, shampoos, towels(for beach too), coffee machine, toaster, kettle, good fridge, olive oil, pan, etc. But as a person who cares about hygiene a lot what really made me love this place is that they didn’t put those decorative blankets and pillows in top of the bed like any other hotels/Airbnbs. No marks in the sheets nor in the towels. Everywhere in the room felt so clean. I stayed in Levantes room for 7 nights and had such a blast in the morning with the view while drinking my coffee. Balcony set up was also super cozy. Bed was very comfortable. There are really countless of things that I consider perfect. In some hotels or airbnbs there are no space for your makeup products, no proper place to hang your towels, put your clothes. But I got a lot of space for my stuff, I had three mirrors in the room which was very convenient also. Cute cretan cats were visiting our balcony once in a while which was also a big plus for me to have them around. I felt like we were in the nature with sea view but in a luxury condition. We were able to park our car just right in front of our front door as well which made also very easy for us to pack beach bags easily without carrying heavy things to the car. Car was just one step close to us. The owner couple was so sweet. When we encountered them, they kept asking if we need anything, if everything was good, it was obvious that they wanted to make sure we feel like home which we did. About the location, Kalyves was not beautiful as chania or rethymno but quiet and nice. Just a seaside village so dont expect too much from the village. There were two beaches nearby around 10 mins each but we always went to turquoise water beaches located in the west and south of crete but this was our preference. And since kalyves is located in between rethymno and chania we were able to visit both towns for dinner easily. Overall, it was such an amazing stay. This place increased the expectation so high that I am not sure if I’ll ever like other airbnbs as much as I liked this apartment. This level of cleanliness, good equipment and relax stay cannot even be found in five star all inclusive hotels sometimes. Amazing.

Just Perfect! Definitely a unique small family enterprise run by Stelios, Natasa and Anna who immediately greet you with such warmth and friendliness...... already you feel genuinely welcome. The welcome extended also to entering the apartment where you can't help noticing how everything is so exceptionally clean and well thought out. Crockery, cutlery etc all of good quality and condition. A wonderful bowl of fruit, wine and water awaits your arrival. The apartments are situated in a quiet area of Kalyves but close to all amenities with a lovely Patisserie on the corner selling well known homemade cheese and spinach pies and lovely bread. Special memories of sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea watching the little fishing boats and sometimes the cruise ships could be seen making their way to Chania. No need to take binnoculars - these are also provided for your use. Do hope every visitor to the apartments enjoy as we did - 'JUST PERFECT!

🌟 Fantastiskt boende – varmt rekommenderas! Jag hade en underbar vistelse på detta boende. Rummet var fräscht, välstädat och mycket bekvämt, med allt jag behövde för en avkopplande semester. Läget var perfekt – lugnt men ändå nära till restauranger och sevärdheter. Värden var otroligt gästvänlig och hjälpsam, och gav oss många bra tips om området. Det märks verkligen att de bryr sig om sina gäster. Jag skulle utan tvekan boka detta boende igen nästa gång jag är i området!

Stelios and Natasa were extremely welcoming and helpful during my stay. The apartment was clean and spacious. It was calm and relaxing. Would recommend it.

Είχαμε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουμε την διαμονή μας στα συγκεκριμένα διαμερίσματα! Προσφάτως ανακαινισμένα, με τους ιδιοκτήτες να έχουν βάλει την προσωπική τους πινελιά στην διακόσμηση, η οποία ξεφεύγει από τις κοινότυπες περιπτώσεις δωματίων θερινής διαμονής! ||Πέρα από τα όμορφα δωμάτια, εκείνο που μας έκανε πολύ θετική εντύπωση ήταν η φιλική συμπεριφορά των ιδιοκτητών και η διάθεσή τους να μας εξυπηρετήσουν σε ότι τους ζητήσαμε! Αν και έχω πάει αρκετές φορές στην Κρήτη, οι πληροφορίες που μας έδωσαν για τα αξιοθέατα του νησιού ήταν τόσο αναλυτικές, γεγονός που σε έκανε να νιώσεις πως δεν έχεις δει τίποτα! :)||Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν καθαρό, ευρύχωρο με καλό γούστο στην διακόσμηση, διέθετε κλιματισμό, tv, κουζίνα, ψυγείο και μια εκπληκτική θέα στην θάλασσα, η οποία απείχε μερικές μόνο δεκάδες μέτρα.||Το χωριό Καλύβες, διέθετε ότι χρειαζόμασταν από εστιατόρια, σουπερ μαρκετ, κτλ, όποτε εξυπηρετηθήκαμε άνετα. Βρίσκεται κοντά σχετικά στα Χανιά, με το πλεονέκτημα της δυνατότητας να μπορέσαμε να αποφύγουμε την πολυκοσμία και την φασαρία της πόλης, ενώ είμασταν αρκετά κοντά στο να την επισκεπτόμαστε όποτε επιθυμούσαμε.||Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!
