Awesome place, exactly what we needed for our vacation. My wife and my little daughter absolutely loved it. Spacy rooms, super clean, the beach a few steps away, very quiet but, most importantly, the hosts are amazing. The lovely couple that runs the place, answered all our questions, suggested the greatest highlights and little tours, and took care of us always with a smile. Best value for money. We will visit them again next summer. Highly recommended!

Exceptional 😀 - Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und umsorgt, so dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben! Das Apartment ist außergewöhnlich. Das Design ist perfekt abgestimmt. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Das Apartment ist ruhig gelegen und die Aussicht grandios. Kalyves ist ein angenehmer und ruhiger Ort, sehr authentisch. Ein perfekter Ort, um Westkreta zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😞 - None

We spent 2 weeks in this cosy apartment and enjoyed it a lot. Everything was there, even a washing machine - which we did not expect. Natasa was always very helpful und the cleaning service was very sufficient. 2 terraces to choose where to have breakfast or dinner to enjoy the view and sun or shadow. Due to the steep road up to the apartments the parking may not be too easy for beginners, but cars can always be parked at the main street. Overall a highly recommendable location, with everything needed for a relaxing stay and very good and friendly service!

Stelios et Natasa sont des hôtes très gentils et généreux. Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Même nous avons pu prendre possession de l'appartement plutôt.

Stayed at Avra Apartments during Christmas 2021 whilst house searching in the local area. We wasn't originally supposed to be staying here but we had a bad experience at an another Air B&B so abandoned that one and found Avra Apartments last minute, a couple of days before Christmas. Natasa and the hosts were absolutely fantastic, we informed them of our poor experience at the other apartment, and they had the heating ready for us to arrive. We spent up to New years Eve there, and Natasa was great asking how we were getting on and recommending her favourite restaurants open out of season as well as the gifts of wine, fruit and treats. There is a fantastic cake bakery at the bottom of the drive that we use all the time when in Kalyves. Apartments are great size and modern. The location is great and easy to walk into town. Some parking spaces are available, but if not, parking is available nearby. The TV had Netflix installed so we could plug into our account during the evenings. We're very grateful to Avra for their hospitality.

Ήδη ανυπομονούμε να κλείσουμε και πάλι στο μέλλον! Καταπληκτικά διαμερίσματα σε μια υπέροχη τοποθεσία. Μόλις επέστρεψα από το δεύτερο ταξίδι μας στο Καλύβες. Την πρώτη φορά που μείναμε στο Kalyves Beach Hotel, το οποίο ήταν πολύ ευχάριστο, αλλά αυτή τη φορά αποφασίσαμε να δοκιμάσουμε κάτι διαφορετικό. Η Νατάσα ήταν πολύ προσεγμένη κατά τη διαδικασία κράτησης, έκανε πολύ εύκολο και ήταν τόσο φιλικός στην απάντηση σε όλες μου τις πολλές ερωτήσεις πριν από την άφιξή μου. Διακανονίστηκε η μεταφορά μας από το αεροδρόμιο με τον Γιώργο Τερεζάκη, έναν γείτονα των διαμερισμάτων Avra, των οποίων η υπηρεσία ταξί θα ήθελα επίσης να συστήσω. Κατά την άφιξή μας συναντήσαμε μια όμορφη κυρία με την ονομασία Άννα που μας έδειξε το διαμέρισμά μας (Σίροκος). Αγαπούσαμε απολύτως τη διάταξη, τη διακόσμηση και τη θέση αυτού του διαμερίσματος και όλα τα περίεργα ελληνικά χαρακτηριστικά του. Αυτό το διαμέρισμα έχει φανταστική θέα στη θάλασσα που βλέπει από τρία μπαλκόνια. Είχε όλες τις ανέσεις που θα μπορούσαν να επιθυμούν και πολλές προσωπικές πινελιές που ένα ξενοδοχείο δεν θα μπορούσε ποτέ να προσφέρει. Οι πετσέτες και τα κλινοσκεπάσματα αλλάζονταν τακτικά και η ρόδα τουαλέτας ολοκληρώθηκε - φανταστική υπηρεσία. Ήταν θαυμάσιο να συναντάμε Natasa αυτοπροσώπως. ήταν τόσο φιλική στην πραγματική ζωή όσο στα μηνύματά της! Όλοι ελπίζουμε πολύ να επιστρέψουμε στο Avra ​​Apartments στο εγγύς μέλλον.

Πολύ καθαρό κατάλυμα, σε καλή τοποθεσία για να ανακαλύψετε και να εξερευνήσετε την περιοχή και ακόμα περισσότερα! Η παραλία Ελαφονήσι απέχει περίπου 1 ώρα και 40 λεπτά από το κατάλυμα. Συνιστάται.

Fabulous, great accomodation

One of the best Airbnb apartments I have stayed in. Large, comfortable, and a great sea view from the balcony. Very spacious, and you can see the ocean from most of the apartment. Stylish, but also very comfortable as well. Clean kitchen with all appliances you need. Very large and comfy beds, with air conditioning in every room. Few minutes walk to two nice beaches, and also great restaurants where you eat right next to the ocean. Great apartment, and we would love to stay again!

Absolutely looove this location. Extremely cute and cozy. Amazing views of the water and mountains. Natasa was a phenomenal host! My flight got delayed so I unfortunately arrive a little later than anticipated and she still greeted me with a big smile and treated me like a good friend. Very comfortable accommodations. She offered several great suggestions for food and activities. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Crete. Thanks so much!

We stayed for 2 short days at Avra Apartments. Stelios is really kind and friendly. He gave us some tips for the region.
The Apartment was perfectly clean. The bed was super comfy and the kitchen has new devices in it (as fridge, oven etc). The bathroom was also very clean and well equipped.
It was a relaxing stay and we’re looking forward to the next time.
