We stayed at Avra apartments for 5 nights and it was a superb stay.
The apartment is exactly as in the pictures. It is equipped with every little thing you might need during your stay, and seems that everything is brand new.
We actually felt like home while being there. Natasa and Stelios were super engaging, gave great recommendations and helped with anything we needed during our stay.

Absolutely 💯lovely apartment! Very clean, modern with everything you need. Fab diffuser hairdryer too which I was happy about. Memory foam mattress. Wine n water waiting on arrival. I'd definitely stay again.

We have just returned from our third visit to the Avra Apartments and had a wonderful time with the amazing owners Natasa and Stelios. Their welcome and hospitality is second to none and they really made as feel part of their family.||||I have posted two previous reviews on the Avra so they can be accessed for further information on the Apartments. Suffice it to say they are absolutely beautiful and come highly recommended in every way. We slept wonderfully in the very comfortable king size bed and all the equipment, furniture and fittings are of a very high standard indeed – attention to detail is amazing and the lovely artistic touches give the warmth and comfort of one’s own home. The outlook from our terrace is stunning with a lovely view across Souda Bay.||||If there were more stars to award this property then I would indeed give it far more than five!!! Thank you again Natasa and Stelios – we hope to see you again next year.

Ήδη ανυπομονούμε να κλείσουμε και πάλι στο μέλλον! Καταπληκτικά διαμερίσματα σε μια υπέροχη τοποθεσία. Μόλις επέστρεψα από το δεύτερο ταξίδι μας στο Καλύβες. Την πρώτη φορά που μείναμε στο Kalyves Beach Hotel, το οποίο ήταν πολύ ευχάριστο, αλλά αυτή τη φορά αποφασίσαμε να δοκιμάσουμε κάτι διαφορετικό. Η Νατάσα ήταν πολύ προσεγμένη κατά τη διαδικασία κράτησης, έκανε πολύ εύκολο και ήταν τόσο φιλικός στην απάντηση σε όλες μου τις πολλές ερωτήσεις πριν από την άφιξή μου. Διακανονίστηκε η μεταφορά μας από το αεροδρόμιο με τον Γιώργο Τερεζάκη, έναν γείτονα των διαμερισμάτων Avra, των οποίων η υπηρεσία ταξί θα ήθελα επίσης να συστήσω. Κατά την άφιξή μας συναντήσαμε μια όμορφη κυρία με την ονομασία Άννα που μας έδειξε το διαμέρισμά μας (Σίροκος). Αγαπούσαμε απολύτως τη διάταξη, τη διακόσμηση και τη θέση αυτού του διαμερίσματος και όλα τα περίεργα ελληνικά χαρακτηριστικά του. Αυτό το διαμέρισμα έχει φανταστική θέα στη θάλασσα που βλέπει από τρία μπαλκόνια. Είχε όλες τις ανέσεις που θα μπορούσαν να επιθυμούν και πολλές προσωπικές πινελιές που ένα ξενοδοχείο δεν θα μπορούσε ποτέ να προσφέρει. Οι πετσέτες και τα κλινοσκεπάσματα αλλάζονταν τακτικά και η ρόδα τουαλέτας ολοκληρώθηκε - φανταστική υπηρεσία. Ήταν θαυμάσιο να συναντάμε Natasa αυτοπροσώπως. ήταν τόσο φιλική στην πραγματική ζωή όσο στα μηνύματά της! Όλοι ελπίζουμε πολύ να επιστρέψουμε στο Avra ​​Apartments στο εγγύς μέλλον.

Great apartment located near Kalyves center, with a nice of sea view. Very stylish and clean! Stelios was very nice and thoughtful. Don’t forget to read the welcome book after checking-in, you have some very important informations in there (like how to turn on the water heater lol).
Great recommendations, will definitely book again if I ever come back in Kalyves some day!

Es war richtig schön in den Apartments von Stelios und Natasa. Beide waren extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend, immer gut erreichbar und auch der Ort Kalyves ist super schön, ruhig aber mit tollen Cafés und Restaurant. Der Strand ist fußläufig und wir haben einfach eine echt schöne Zeit dort verbracht. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Warm welcome, super friendly owners! Everything you need is nearby, very well located to explore the most beautiful parts of Crete. Apparment was great, very cozy, clean, quiet, well equiped, even with sea view. We had a great time. Would definitely stay here again!

Tips for other travellers: Don't just go to the beach, also explore the mountains. It is totally worth it 🙂

Très bon acceuil,appartement très bien équipé.

Stelios and Natasa were great hosts.
The apartment was easy to find, clean and the whole interior was just as new.
It's perfectly located for travelling to Chania, Rhetymno and lots of other places.
A bakery is just a few meters away and there a lot of options for dining in Kalyves.

Getting in contact with Stelios and Natasa was easy, they responded quickly and they were nice and engaged all the time.

Natasa gave us a very friendly welcome at the accommodation and immediately gave us various tips for the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable in the Airbnb. Thanks again for everything.

Η Νατάσα και ο Στέλιος σ 'ευχαριστώ πολύ για το ΘΕΡΜΌ καλωσόρισμα ❤😊 Το τζάκι ήταν υπέροχο και χρήσιμο! Το διαμέρισμα είναι όμορφο και άνετο και μας άρεσε πολύ να επιστρέφουμε στο σπίτι μετά από μια κουραστική μέρα εργασίας. Συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα αυτό το μέρος όλες τις εποχές!

Merci pour ce très bel appartement qui a contribué à rendre notre séjour si agréable. Le logement est nickel avec une jolie terrasse, et à proximité de bons restaurants. Merci à Stelios pour son accueil, sa disponibilité et ses recommandations. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !
