Έμεινα πέρσι το καλοκαίρι στο Αυρα και πραγματικά ήταν όλα άψογα! Πεντακάθαρο ολοκαίνουριο δωμάτιο-σουίτα, με πολυ προσεγμένη διακόσμηση, τέλεια στρώματα, μεγάλο μπαλκόνι με θέα. Η τοποθεσία επίσης είναι ιδανική, δίπλα από τη θάλασσα, κοντά στα Χανιά και ιδανική για εξορμήσεις ώστε να γνωρίσετε τις ομορφιές της Κρήτης. Οι ιδιοκτήτες ευγενέστατοι, καλόκαρδοι, είναι ταξιδιώτες κ αυτοί οπότε ξέρουν τι σημαίνει φιλοξενία και σεβασμός στον ταξιδιώτη. Εκαναν τα πάντα για να μείνουμε ευχαριστημένοι. Και το κατάφεραν με το παραπάνω! Θα ξαναπάω σίγουρα, ότι καλύτερο στην Κρήτη!

Just perfect! The accommodation is beautiful and very well equipped and new. The hostess is super friendly and fulfills all wishes.

The accommodation is perfect for exploring the west and south-west of Crete. We can also recommend the sandy beaches in Kalyves, which are also ideal for children. Just ask the hostess if you want to go on excursions or have a good meal. She always helps.

Απολύτως εξαιρετική! Οι οικοδεσπότες Νατάσα και Στέλιος ήταν απολύτως υπέροχοι! Η τοποθεσία ήταν ένα όνειρο, θέα πάνω από τη Μεσόγειο θάλασσα και σε κοντινή απόσταση με τα πόδια από πανέμορφες παραλίες και καλά εστιατόρια. Ο τόπος ήταν εξαιρετικά καθαρός. Το διαμέρισμα είναι όμορφα διακοσμημένο με καλλιτεχνικές προσωπικές πινελιές μερικές υπέροχες εικόνες. Τα υπνοδωμάτια και τα μπάνια είναι ευρύχωρα και έχουν πολύ μοντέρνο κομψό άγγιγμα. Ο κλιματισμός προσφέρει μεγάλη ανακούφιση από τη θερμότητα όταν το χρειάζεστε. Φρέσκια χαρτί υγείας και πετσέτες κρεβατιών ανάκλινα άλλαξαν κάθε δύο ημέρες. Αυτό που προσωπικά μου άρεσε πολύ ήταν ότι οι οικοδεσπότες είναι περιβαλλοντικά προσανατολισμένοι και διευκολύνουν οποιονδήποτε φιλοξενούμενο να ανακυκλώνει τα πλαστικά και είναι διακριτικά εμφανής μέσα από τα τσάντες που παρέχουν τα σακούλα ανακύκλωσης και τους καθαρούς σάκους από λινό για ψώνια. Κατά την άφιξή μας χαιρετίσαμε με εξαιρετικά φιλικό και προσεγμένο τρόπο. Επίσης ένα υπέροχο μπουκάλι αμπέλου και το Raki ήταν επίσης μέρος της γενναιόδωρης υποδοχής. Όταν δυστυχώς έπρεπε να φύγουμε μας δόθηκε ένα όμορφο χέρι ζωγραφισμένο αντίο παρόν! Θα ήθελα να συστήσω ιδιαίτερα αυτό το μέρος σε όσους αναζητούν ένα όμορφο γραφικό και χαλαρό μέρος για να μείνετε. Ιδανικό για ζευγάρια και οικογένειες με παιδιά. Απολύτως εξαιρετική!

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful, well-maintained flat with all the facilities. Best of all, the owners and their family are very, very kind, making our stay unforgettable.

Tip: Kalyves is an authentic, lively village with all that a traveller needs, but without the traps of massive tourism. The beaches are beautiful, not crowded at all, you can reach them walking for 10 minutes or by car (no problem for parking nearby). There are about 10 restaurants, butchers', bakers', hairdressers', rent-a-car offices, a supermarket in Kalyves. Around the village, you can go walking or visit Chania, 25 minutes by bus.

If you are looking for a place next to the sea, away from extreme noise yet close to the old city of Chania then this is the place to be!
Beautiful rooms with a true mediterranean atmosphere in a nice village!
The owners are the clue of the apartments, well known travellers with the best knowledge of Crete will guide you to the even the smallest places you are looking for in the magical Island of Greece so make sure you don't hesitate to tell them what you are looking for during your stay!

Perfect place for a family including everything that you need! 😀 - We really enjoyed our stay at Avra Apartments. Everything was absolutely amazing: the location, the apartment, the amenities and the cleanliness. The apartment was fully equipped with everything making our stay very confortable and the hosts were really hospitable and kind, offerring even toys for our toddler, which was a nice bonus to our stay. Great apartments and lovely owners who go out of their way to welcome you.

Amazing apartments in a wonderful location. We have just returned from our second trip to Kalyves. The first time we stayed in the Kalyves Beach Hotel, which was very pleasant, but this time we decided to try something different. Natasa was very attentive during the booking process, she made it a very easy pocess, and she was so friendly in answering all of my many questions before our arrival. She arranged our transfer from the airport with George Terezakis, a neighbour of the Avra Apartments whose taxi service I would also highly recommend. Upon arrival we were met by a lovely lady called Anna who showed us our apartment (Sirokos). We absolutely loved the layout, decor and position of this apartment and all of its quaint Greek traits. This apartment has a fantastic sea view which can be viewed from three balconies. It had every amenity which could be wished for and many personal touches a hotel just would never be able to offer. Our towels and bedding were changed regularly and the toilet roll topped up - fantastic service. It was wonderful to meet Natasa in person; she was as friendly in real life as in her emails! We all hope very much to return to Avra Apartments in the near future.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans ce petit duplex, parfait pour 2 personnes. On a vraiment apprécié les petites attentions des hôtes et leur gentillesse. De même cet appartement dispose de 2 terrasses qui ont fait notre bonheur. Kalyves est un petit village paisible doté d’une plage ( à 3mn du logement) et situé à 30mn de la Chania.

I can definitely recommend to stay with Stelios. He is the perfect host and the place is spotless.
Everything you need is a walking distance and Stelios makes sure you feel welcomed and comfortable.

 Highly recommend! Apartments are modern and clean with great views! Owners are welcoming and friendly! We have stayed there several times and will continue to do so when we visit Crete.
