Nous recherchions un logement tranquille et comfortable pour un séjour de vélo et ce logement était parfait pour ça.
La communication avec Stelios était facile, le logement très bien équipé et fonctionnel.
A 20 minutes de route de Chania, plusieurs belles routes pour le vélo, près de la mer et des montagnes.
Excellente expérience

We (3) enjoyed our stay a lot, also because of the beautiful apartment, the interior is modern, cozy and very nice and well-divided for 3-4 persons.
the views are excellent, so is the service (cleaning, warm welcome etc.). the kitchen is also very well-euqipped so no problem to cook and have meals at home.
we stayed in early november and also enjoyed the chimney 😉
Tips for other travellers
it´s an excellent home base for all short & long trips to Crete, especially in the eastern part (eg. Chania, Elafonisi, etc.); many restaurants etc. around, also directly in Kalyves, a nice beach is in walking distance, plus there´s a Almyrida just around the corner.

Υπέροχη διαμονή! Μείναμε 3 νύχτες στο διαμέρισμα του Avra. Μας υποδέχτηκε η Νατάσα. Ήταν πολύ φιλόξενοι και εξυπηρετικοί και εξυπηρετικό και μιλούσε πολύ καλά αγγλικά. Το στούντιο που μείναμε ήταν τόσο μεγάλο για δύο ότι δεν αισθανόμουν σαν ένα στούντιο, αλλά ακόμα και αν το ελαστικό είναι σκασμένο. Υπήρχε ένα μεγάλο αρκετά καλά εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα/τραπεζαρία, μεγάλο διπλό κρεβάτι, πολύ καθαρό μπάνιο, καθώς και ένα μπαλκόνι και ένα αίθριο. Το μπαλκόνι ήταν τέλεια για το πρωινό μας ήταν στον ήλιο και τη βεράντα για δείπνο για να παρακολουθήσετε το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Κλειστό σε μια παραλία, ένα σούπερ μάρκετ και 3 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το κέντρο της πόλης με πολλά εστιατόρια. Τέλεια τοποθεσία αν θέλετε να αποφύγετε την πολυκοσμία Χανια και όχι να μακριά από τον κεντρικό δρόμο για να εξερευνήσετε την Κρήτη.

We had a very nice stay. We especially liked the small "village" the apartment is located in. I highly recommend this place. Especially if you have a car available. Visiting Rethymno / Chenai / Beaches or Hiking Trails is easy from this spot. It is worth mentioning that the host (Stelios) is a very nice person!

Das Apartment war traumhaft und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Stelios & Natasa waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Kalyves selbst hat sehr viel Charme, es gibt sehr nette & leckere Restaurants. Chania ist mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar. Definitiv empfehlenswert.

Stelios was an excellent host. Very responsive and helpful, particularly in my situation as I missed my flight and arrived very late. He was extremely accommodating. The apartment was exactly as pictured and described. Great air conditioning above the bed and excellent wifi strength. I used the washing machine which was very helpful. Glad I had a smaller car rental (MB A-Class hatchback) which made parking very easy. I would easily pick this apartment again. Good central place for my stay on Crete.

Το δωμάτιο (Sirokos) ήταν ευρύχωρο, πεντακάθαρο και άψογα διακοσμημένο με ολοκαίνουρια έπιπλα, αναπαυτικά κρεβάτια, άνετο σαλόνι με μεγάλη tv, γρήγορο ίντερνετ, πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα, ευρύχωρο μπαλκόνι με θέα στη θάλασσα. Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται δίπλα από τη θάλασσα, με πλήθος καταστημάτων κοντά αλλά ταυτόχρονα έχει μια απόλυτη ησυχία που σε κάνει να θες να κάτσεις ατελείωτες ώρες στο μπαλκόνι. Οι ιδιοκτήτες φιλικότατοι, είναι κι οι ίδιοι ταξιδιώτες που έχουν γυρίσει όλο τον κόσμο οπότε ξέρουν ακριβώς πως θα φροντίσουν τον επισκέπτη τους. Να σημειωθεί το κέρασμα κατά την άφιξη μας αλλά και ένα δώρο έκπληξη που μας έκαναν κατά την αναχώρησή μας!

Lovely spot for a peaceful night! The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Great location near the beach and village. Host was friendly and check-in was smooth. Would happily stay again!

Stunning apartment right by the ocean. Even better than it looks in the pictures. Stelios was friendly and helpful; he helped us arrange a car and greeted us for check in and check out. The apartment had everything you could need and was only a short drive from Chania. Truly a lovely place to stay and we’d highly recommend it!

It was a pleasure to stay at Stelios AirBnB. It was an amazing time and the small city Kalyves had its own amazing vibe in contrast to other cities around. The AirBnb had everything you need and stelios has been every day around so you could ask him if there is anything you need. I would recommend this place for everyone who want to have a nice time on crete with a special airbnb.

Modern appartement, dat centraal aan de kust ligt. Hier vandaan kun je veel uitstapjes op west Kreta makkelijk bereiken.

Un logement parfait, encore plus beau que sur les photos. Je n’ai jamais vu un logement aussi propre sur airbnb jusqu’à présent. Merci encore pour tout. Des hôtes super aimables, accueillants, à l’écoute et prêt à tout faire pour que vous vous sentiez chez vous. Merci, nous reviendrons !
