The hosts Natasa and Stellios were absolutely lovely! The location was a dream, view over the Mediterranean sea and within walking distance to gorgeous beaches and good restaurants. The place was extremely clean. The apartment are beautifully decorated with artistic personal touches of some lovely pictures. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and have a very modern elegant touch. Airconditioning gives great relief from heat when you need it. Fresh bedcolths toilet paper and towels were changed every two days. What I personally also liked very much was that the hosts are environmental orientated, and make it easy for any guest to recycle plastics, and is discreetly evident through tge provided recycling bags and the clean linen bags for shopping. On arrival we were greeted in an exceptionally friendly and forthcoming manner. Also a lovely bottle of vine and Raki was also part of the generous welcome. When we sadly had to leave we were given a beautiful hand painted goodbye present! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful scenic and relaxed place to stay. Perfect for couples and families with kids. Absolutely exceptional!|

The apartment was very cozy, stylish and very clean. I loved the shower,kitchen and the balcony of the bedroom was very cozy home. The host is very friendly and helpful. They respond very fast. Loved the apartment.

All I can say is just perfect. Perfect room, perfect view, perfect hospitality. Everything you need is well thought and the room is fully equipped, including washing machine, hair dryer, shampoos, towels(for beach too), coffee machine, toaster, kettle, good fridge, olive oil, pan, etc. But as a person who cares about hygiene a lot what really made me love this place is that they didn’t put those decorative blankets and pillows in top of the bed like any other hotels/Airbnbs. No marks in the sheets nor in the towels. Everywhere in the room felt so clean. I stayed in Levantes room for 7 nights and had such a blast in the morning with the view while drinking my coffee. Balcony set up was also super cozy. Bed was very comfortable. There are really countless of things that I consider perfect. In some hotels or airbnbs there are no space for your makeup products, no proper place to hang your towels, put your clothes. But I got a lot of space for my stuff, I had three mirrors in the room which was very convenient also. Cute cretan cats were visiting our balcony once in a while which was also a big plus for me to have them around. I felt like we were in the nature with sea view but in a luxury condition. We were able to park our car just right in front of our front door as well which made also very easy for us to pack beach bags easily without carrying heavy things to the car. Car was just one step close to us. The owner couple was so sweet. When we encountered them, they kept asking if we need anything, if everything was good, it was obvious that they wanted to make sure we feel like home which we did. About the location, Kalyves was not beautiful as chania or rethymno but quiet and nice. Just a seaside village so dont expect too much from the village. There were two beaches nearby around 10 mins each but we always went to turquoise water beaches located in the west and south of crete but this was our preference. And since kalyves is located in between rethymno and chania we were able to visit both towns for dinner easily. Overall, it was such an amazing stay. This place increased the expectation so high that I am not sure if I’ll ever like other airbnbs as much as I liked this apartment. This level of cleanliness, good equipment and relax stay cannot even be found in five star all inclusive hotels sometimes. Amazing.

When we first stumbled upon this flat on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Natasa is the most thoughtful, gracious host.
She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The flat is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs.

Αξιολάτρευτο μέρος, αξιολάτρευτοι ιδιοκτήτες <3 Το διαμέρισμα είναι τεράστιο, καθαρό, καλά εξοπλισμένο και πραγματικά πολύ άνετο. Η θέα στη θάλασσα είναι συναρπαστική από τη βεράντα και από το υπνοδωμάτιο.
Επικοινωνήσαμε με τη Natasa κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μας, η οποία είναι άγγελος. Μας βοήθησε σε περίπτωση που έχετε απορίες, προσθέσαμε πολλές προτάσεις για ταξίδια με ένα παιδί. Η 4χρονη κόρη μας λάτρεψε επίσης τον χώρο, τη θάλασσα, το φαγητό, τα προγράμματα. Περάσαμε εδώ τις 1 κορυφαίες καλοκαιρινές διακοπές μας. Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!!! Συνιστάται ανεπιφύλακτα!

Good view and lovely hosts!

Stelios is a super host! The apartment is great located and has a very nice view on the ocean. Welcoming wine and fruits... not more to ask for...

very peaceful, lovely neighbours. We cannot praise the place enough, highly recommend. Massive shout out for Natasa, she is a absolute star.

Υπέροχη διαμονή! Μείναμε 3 νύχτες στο διαμέρισμα του Avra. Μας υποδέχτηκε η Νατάσα. Ήταν πολύ φιλόξενοι και εξυπηρετικοί και εξυπηρετικό και μιλούσε πολύ καλά αγγλικά. Το στούντιο που μείναμε ήταν τόσο μεγάλο για δύο ότι δεν αισθανόμουν σαν ένα στούντιο, αλλά ακόμα και αν το ελαστικό είναι σκασμένο. Υπήρχε ένα μεγάλο αρκετά καλά εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα/τραπεζαρία, μεγάλο διπλό κρεβάτι, πολύ καθαρό μπάνιο, καθώς και ένα μπαλκόνι και ένα αίθριο. Το μπαλκόνι ήταν τέλεια για το πρωινό μας ήταν στον ήλιο και τη βεράντα για δείπνο για να παρακολουθήσετε το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Κλειστό σε μια παραλία, ένα σούπερ μάρκετ και 3 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το κέντρο της πόλης με πολλά εστιατόρια. Τέλεια τοποθεσία αν θέλετε να αποφύγετε την πολυκοσμία Χανια και όχι να μακριά από τον κεντρικό δρόμο για να εξερευνήσετε την Κρήτη.

One of the best places we have stayed at. Stelios and his wife, Natasa, are wonderful. They went above and beyond any host. The apartment was in immaculate condition. We quickly felt right at home. Our apartment was fully updated with very nice finishes. I highly recommend this apartment. They will treat you like family.

Ο Στέλιος και η Νατάσα έχουν κάνει το σπίτι τους ένα όμορφο μικρό κουκούλι. Είναι τέλεια εξοπλισμένο με όλες τις ανέσεις που θέλετε και είναι υπέροχα διακοσμημένο, δεν λείπει τίποτα.
Είναι σε καλή τοποθεσία, μερικές εκατοντάδες μέτρα από τις παραλίες, το σούπερ μάρκετ και το χωριό.
Ας μην ξεχνάμε ότι η ειδική αναφορά για το θερμό καλωσόρισμα των οικοδεσποτών μας και τη λεπτή προσοχή τους καθ 'όλη τη διάρκεια της διαμονής.
