Beautiful hosts, beautiful place and the area is a great settling point for activities: from hiking, strolling along the beach in waking distance to many beautiful beaches and ancient places to visit.
The apartment had an amazing selection to stay for easy 2-3 weeks and cook the beautiful Greek food and have some relaxed evenings with a glass of wine on the balcony. I love having the flexibility to stay at “home” and enjoy AND have great tavernas and cafes in walking distance. Supermarket in 7 min . Walking, bakery 3 min., Taverne 3,5 min. 😉

Thank you to the most beautiful kind hosts - so much love is put into this place with the individual apartments- I extended my stay 😁 and will be back !! 🩷🩷

Wonderful place! It is a great to stay. It is close to the beach , close to a grocery, close to restaurants and near Chania without fighting the noise and traffic of Chania. The apartment is well equipped and I love that it has a washing machine! We will return for a longer stay next time.

The apartment was just amazing!
Very clean, very pretty, exactly as shown on the pictures, amazing view, everything we needed was there, especially in the kitchen and the bathroom.
That is just surpassed by the extremely (I assume wife of the host Stelios) Natasha! She checked in with us every day without being annoying, she had the best recommendations for Kalyves and the surrounding villages and the whole area of Chania. We were so satisfied by that! She also made sure the cleaning is on the right day so that it fits our plans and could answer every question we had.

Also, Kalyves is a nice little village and we got everything we needed from the lots of little stores (small supermarkets, butcher, bakery etc.) on the main street, which was just around the corner.
The apartment was easy to find and also had a parking spot for our rented car.
All in all, it couldn't have been any better, I would highly recommend this stay!

Sfeervol en comfortabel appartement op loopafstand van strand en restaurantjes.

Ons verblijf was perfect.

We hebben werkelijk nog nooit eerder zo'n mooi en compleet appartement gehad. Van een volledige keukeninrichting met broodrooster, keukenmachine, toaster, citruspers, afwasmachine, koffiezetapparaten om op 2 manieren koffie te kunnen zetten, koffie, thee, chocolademelkpoeder, afwasblokjes, peper/zout, maar ook een wasmachine, strijkbout en plank, 2x badkamers, 2 fohns, Zelfs speelgoed voor onze kleinzoon werd gebracht. En dan heb ik nog niet eens alles genoemd. Daarnaast stond er een gevulde fruitmand, een fleswijn en flesje Raki als welkom klaar.
En dan kwamen de eigenaren ook nog vragen of we iets misten. Nou werkelijk ik kon niets bedenken. Overigens zeer vriendelijke, toegankelijke mensen.
Het balkonhek vonden wij niet helemaal veilig voor onze 1 1/2 jaar oude kleinzoon en hier werd gelijk de volgende dag en mooie oplossing voor gemonteerd. Echt top!

Dit appartement is absoluut een aanrader! Wij geven het een dikke 10!

Stayed at Avra Apartments during Christmas 2021 whilst house searching in the local area. We wasn't originally supposed to be staying here but we had a bad experience at an another Air B&B so abandoned that one and found Avra Apartments last minute, a couple of days before Christmas. Natasa and the hosts were absolutely fantastic, we informed them of our poor experience at the other apartment, and they had the heating ready for us to arrive. We spent up to New years Eve there, and Natasa was great asking how we were getting on and recommending her favourite restaurants open out of season as well as the gifts of wine, fruit and treats. There is a fantastic cake bakery at the bottom of the drive that we use all the time when in Kalyves. Apartments are great size and modern. The location is great and easy to walk into town. Some parking spaces are available, but if not, parking is available nearby. The TV had Netflix installed so we could plug into our account during the evenings. We're very grateful to Avra for their hospitality.

Υπέροχη διαμονή! Μείναμε 3 νύχτες στο διαμέρισμα του Avra. Μας υποδέχτηκε η Νατάσα. Ήταν πολύ φιλόξενοι και εξυπηρετικοί και εξυπηρετικό και μιλούσε πολύ καλά αγγλικά. Το στούντιο που μείναμε ήταν τόσο μεγάλο για δύο ότι δεν αισθανόμουν σαν ένα στούντιο, αλλά ακόμα και αν το ελαστικό είναι σκασμένο. Υπήρχε ένα μεγάλο αρκετά καλά εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα/τραπεζαρία, μεγάλο διπλό κρεβάτι, πολύ καθαρό μπάνιο, καθώς και ένα μπαλκόνι και ένα αίθριο. Το μπαλκόνι ήταν τέλεια για το πρωινό μας ήταν στον ήλιο και τη βεράντα για δείπνο για να παρακολουθήσετε το ηλιοβασίλεμα. Κλειστό σε μια παραλία, ένα σούπερ μάρκετ και 3 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το κέντρο της πόλης με πολλά εστιατόρια. Τέλεια τοποθεσία αν θέλετε να αποφύγετε την πολυκοσμία Χανια και όχι να μακριά από τον κεντρικό δρόμο για να εξερευνήσετε την Κρήτη.

Η τοποθεσία προσφέρει θέα, τα δωμάτια καθαρά και περιποιημένα με μεράκι από τους εκπληκτικούς ιδιοκτήτες, μην ξεχάσετε να ρωτήσετε πληροφορίες για τις "αποδράσεις" σας στην Κρήτη, οι ιδιοκτήτες θα σας εκπλήξουν με τις προτάσεις τους!

Highly recommend staying here! Our stay was incredibly lovely. The accommodation was impeccable and Natasa was the most attentive and helpful guide for the area, even looking up weather for us and suggesting itineraries. She sent us to one of our favorite restaurants of the whole trip and is just generally someone you’ll wish you had way more time just getting to know! Nice hot water and comfy bed. Many thoughtful touches like raki, fruit, tea, and coffee to welcome you ❤️

Amazing place for a romantic city brake. Super close to the beach and sea. Great host's, we received restaurant and attractions recommendations which were spot on ! Highly recommend!

Ποιότητας και γούστου διαμερίσματα που δεν τους λείπουν τίποτα ώστε να απολαύσει κάποιος της διακοπές του στο επαρκο. Η Κα Νατάσα είναι πάντα εκεί διακριτικα για όποια βοήθεια κάποιος χρειαστεί. Πραγματικά τέτοιου είδους επενδύσεις σε συνδυασμό με τον επαγγελματισμο της όλης προσπάθειας αναδεικνύουν τον Ελληνικό τουρισμό ως προς του πως πρέπει να λειτουργεί και να είναι ένα τέτοιου είδους κατάλυμα.
